11. SOUNDBITE (English) Eva Herzigova, model : "Beautiful. Very Oscars. This whole show is like a presentation to the Oscar night. True glamour, True Hollywood glamour. One of the dresses is just stunning. I can just see Halle Berry wearing it."

13. SOUNDBITE (English) Mark Badgley: "This season we're a little bit more tailored than we've been in the past. Spring was very diaphanous and very soft and feminine and certainly this season we hope is the same, but a little more tailored. Embroideries are inspired by... vintage... The silhouette has a more 50s -60s influence to it."
14. SOUNDBITE (English) James Mischka: "My favourite gown is a mauve satin dress that Eva Herzigova is wearing. It's sort of a Grecian inspired piece inspired by old Elizabeth Taylor movies we've been watching, like 'Butterfield 8' - they've inspired a lot of pieces in this collection."

AUDIENCE LEFT IN THE DARK AT BADGLEY MISCHKA
The Badgley Mischka collection was as beautiful and glamorous as ever but most people had a hard time seeing it due to a poor lighting job on the runway.
Giant spotlights on the catwalk made it difficult for both the audience and the press to see, prompting a few bad newspaper reviews of the lighting -- but not the clothes.
Those who could make out the designs were treated to Mark Badgley and James Mischka's ultra glam take on evening attire.
Meanwhile, debate continued over the health of supermodel Eva Herzigova who graced the Badgley Mischka catwalk. Her new slimmed down look has prompted fears that she is suffering from an eating disorder.
The show opened with a dusty rose velvet column gown spattered with crystals and closed with exotic scarab-printed satins. There was a group of gowns in lilac satin. Bronze also was prominent in the collection. The slender dresses sparkled with beaded panels or lines - lots of jewels and fur too - everything that a girl would need to walk the red carpet at the Oscars.
Backstage, model Eva Herzigova said she could envision actress Halle Berry in one of the gowns she was modelling.
The collection was inspired by old films, particularly old Elizabeth Taylor films like 'Butterfield 8' though the designers say that they are careful to keep the clothes modern.
