I agree with you 100% about not trying to copying them mate, but you have to admit certain factors, such as using short loop filter build ups etc are good no matter what your style (considering when it comes to this sort of music us guys play for 3+hours) just like to know, helps develop our own understanding an pursue our own techniques of mixing

it is called exposè and it is a mac osx feature. By pressing f14 (or f13, don't remember), all finder windows get small so you can select them and bring it on another (search also "exposè osx").
I don't know what appli he was using in the white window but I suppose it is something to select track or mabye a dedicate effector unit (external to traktor).
p.s. guys, do not copy famous dj set ups. Build your own exlusive. Do you know how many djs is using Trkt? Too many! So where is originality?
