Awesome Job!! I've R&R a set of roll up doors but have never installed them in a container before so this is good to know moving forward. I can't recall seeing another video for this either so great job. 🇺🇸 On this fourth of July we recognize it's the diligence, ingenuity and hard work of folks just like you that keep this country free. 🇺🇸
Super cool work but would it not have been easier to use a plasma cutter to cut through the sides. In addition to everything I was working on a 24 volt plasma cutter and it turned out well but I do not know how to fund it. I suppose I could do a kickstarter or something. I am pretty sure that a significant number of welders would love to have a battery powered plasma cutter. With enough money on research I am sure I could get it down to 12 volts. Let me know what you think. Maybe I will start a kickstarter or something. Thanks my friend. Keep up the great videos.
Awesome video! Do you recall the roll up door size? I'm getting delivered a 40' container and I want to cut and install a roll up door on the end opposite the swing out doors. Mine will be a standard height container. The rollup door I'm looking at needs 15" minimum head clearance. The door itself is 7' tall. My container inside height is 7' 10". Thanks
Thanks for the reply! I'm trying to keep the costs down and get a standard size. I think if I go with a standard 6' wide x 7' tall door I can just cut 6" of the bottoms of the side tracks and the excess door will just stay on the drum. @@noahswelding6836
Hey Noah!! How are you doing my friend? I haven't seen you or heard from you in a while. I am getting really close to starting my RUclips channel. I am just finishing up a Garden tractor for a friend that I am trading for a 1983 Harley. After that is done, I am starting a build on a 1928 Morgan Aero GN Special. I am really excited. You have been a n inspiration for me to start putting videos together. SO is this your container? Is this a new shop???
Hey thanks for reaching out. That would be awesome starting your own channel. It may have been easier to use a plasma cutter but I feel like there’s less clean up with a cut off wheel. There’s no right or wrong way to do it but I find this works well for me.

Awesome job!
Do the roll up doors keep water out well or does the bottom allow water to sit and/or come inside the container?
Where’d you get roll up doors

Thanks and I believe these doors where 6x8 6 tall 8 wide don’t qui me but I think you can get a custom sized door as well if needed
