Xavier, who also became the U.S. show’s first Black winner during Wednesday night’s finale, opens up about not wanting this moment to distract from ‘The Cookout’ alliance’s historic achievements. Kyland claims the audience didn’t receive the full context for what led up to the tense exchange. ‘Big Brother’ airs on CBS, with a ‘Celebrity’ edition returning this winter.

We've all been there when someone wants to get us riled up and mess up our blessings! And, you have to be like "excuse me"! And breathe... Kyland meant what he said and he was so upset, he wanted to really take Xavier down with him. Kyland had nothing to lose, but Xavier did because the rules are no fighting. It would've been messed up if Xavier would've pushed Kyland's forehead for standing so close. And, Azah wins. Cause Big D got no votes. If Kyland wasn't trying to sabotage Xavier, why not say whatever and walk off? Why stand there adding more fuel to the fire, nose to nose?

It just ain't worth it when dealing with someone with Kylands personality. He will never see it as him being salty or wrong so he will never acknowledge or apologize for being a jerk at that moment. I think the rest of the cookout sees that and still loves Kyland and is just moving on from it.

Kyland said if your nephew has no one to look up too…that was out of pocket still to bring up his nephew regardless of any conversation he and X had in the house! There was no point, in bringing up Xs nephew, and asking him who is his nephew is going to look up to since X "isn't man enough", and the boys father is dead. There was literally no reason he should have brought this up, because he was getting kicked out the house. Totally irrelevant to what was going on. Kyland was hurt because he got blindsided, and wanted to try and hurt X, so he hit below the belt. And now he doesn't want to apologize, because that would be an admittance of being wrong, and he hates being wrong.

Now I have to say X should've NEVER brought up his nephew in the context of the convos X and Kyland had KNOWING he was lying through his teeth!!! He told Kyland he wanted to sit next to him at final 2 to show his nephew about never backing down from a challenge. About showing your the best by going against the best. They discussed X's nephew being named after Kobe Bryant and how Kobe never backed down from a challenge. That Kobe showed he was the best by playing against the best and X said he wanted to set that example for his nephew. Basically X used his nephew's name while gaslighting Ky into believing he wanted to sit at F2 with him. X should've NEVER used his nephew's name in this way knowing everything he was saying was a lie!! But again, Ky should've not brought it all up on national live TV

Why is it wrong for Kyland to call out Xavier for using his nephew to win people over? It’s not personal, he called him out for playing the game like he said he was trying to teach his nephew not to be.
Because of the context. The nephews father aka X's brother past away recently. Now Ky is saying that his nephew has no one to look up to, thats harsh and unnecessary. Thats something you say to someone you dont want to be friends with. Imagine Ky getting invited to X's familys house or gets together with them, do you know how awkward that would be? Thats not something friends say to each other.
Also do you realize how humiliated his nephew must have felt after that? His classmates could tease him and bully him for all that. You know what that could do to a person, let alone someone as young as him? Do you not realize that some words can actually hurt and even destroy relationships?

Here's what I got from everything I heard
Ky said "would X's nephew be happy with his behavior" which was referring to X promising on take Ky too take him to final 2 and play in away that would have his nephew proud.
So unless I heard his statement wrong in no way whatsoever did Ky insult X's nephew. He was probably confused on why X would use such a personal subject to trick him and go back on his word. He was taking about X's promise too his nephew and not the nephew himself. I also think if alot of ppl where in Ky's shoes they'd be mad as well
Wow! I'm so glad you brought this to the light, because everyone is on X's side, and downing Kylan!!! I heard it the same way, because that's what he said that day! X was wrong too! I saw the hurt in Kylans eyes when he was evicted, because he trusted that man!!!!! Ky was such a good player! He made a lot of plays in the game, and won a lot of comps! Then you have X claiming to have thrown comps on purpose, but we don't know if that's true or not. All we can do is take his word! Hopefully they can forgive and forget and be friends for real! Ky and Tiff were the best players!
I'm in no way a fan of Kyland's whatsoever. But I sort of agree. Xavier definitely pulled on Kyland's heart strings hard. They had a very specific conversation, and it's obvious he's referencing that. The blindside was unnecessary. They just didn't want to hear Kyland blab on for a week. He should've been told.

I use to like kyland in the beginning, but he definitely showed his true colors. I thought it could have been a heat of the moment but even now he doesn't apologize and continues explaining while making excuses as to why he said it. You said it and that's it just apologize.
