    How come the answer i got from when you plug in the values for [NO}^2, [N2], [O2]. looks like this (7.7 X 10^-6)^2 / (0.052)(0.025) = 5.929 X 10 ^-11 / (0.052)(0.025)= 2.850 X 10^-11. and your answer is 4.1 X 10^-8. are mine wrong or I missed a step?

    is Kc and Keq the same thing??

    • @Moleqlar
      @Moleqlar  7 лет назад +3

      Ain Farhana Yes it is. Keq is just a general expression, while Kc, Kp, Kw, etc are the Keq expression but refer to a specific circumstance. Keq is kind of like saying car, but then specifying the type of car by using Kc, Kp, etc. Kc is the most common form, and refers to using concentrations to determine the equilibrium constant.

      +Moleqlar ok tq. so we can assume the small x approximation is only when Keq is very small right ?

    • @Moleqlar
      @Moleqlar  7 лет назад +1

      Ain Farhana It all depends on the ratio between initial reactants and the Keq. use the "rule of 100" or "5% rule" to determine if you can drop the change for your calculations.
