Hello, INFP here dating an ISTP for over a year and you are so spot on. Even on our first date (I pursued him) he was being all stoic and he can be quiet but he said he was grateful after we became official because his past experiences in dating just didn't go anywhere because of his quiet nature but because of the INFP's open minded nature that i defo have i was like "hmmm what is he hiding?". He still finds it hard to be emotional as he isn't as fluent as me with regards to emotions, which can be our most common struggle. but beyond that i still love him. Especially when you mentioned the building thing, omg does he love making things. i was doing up my room and had to build some furniture and he was all in, pretty much building everything cuz i got distracted half way in. As well we both love mystery games, building stuff, we got legos one time and i recently bought us some DIY stuff to do together and he loves it. I am also a writer and he loves helping me with building the fictional world. he sees himself as this strong tree in a heavy storm, where I view him as an awkward enderman from minecraft just standing stiff hahah. but honestly i am better at talking to people then he is but get burnt out pretty quick, but once he has drink in his system boy is he fun and I look like the boring one hahah. ISTP's are very unpredictable creatures in my opinion.
Lol. Istp partner intrigued me then and still does now. Infp who said no to most then found me an istp who made funny remarks, clearly a comedian but with deep parts i couldnt glean until i engaged more, rebel and does things his way, confident and assertive but shy at times and intelligent. 😊 one of my fav and most attracted personality types for me
I told my therapist that I can't help but love my ISTP because even though I check ideas and problems in my mind in thousands of ways he's the only one who sees the world the way I don't. But she could not understand what I meant ☹🥺
