I believe whenever the Spy contacts the Double Agent or Fakes Contacting the Double Agent, a voice clip plays that the Sniper can hear that says "Banana Bread".

It would be cool for another video to go back to muting each other during a round...BUT, swapping audio. So as we are watching Dapper's run, we hear kAN's audio to hear what he is thinking and if he is on the right track. And vice versa.
I love that idea so we know who to root for in Sniper levels and we know if they are close in Spy levels

I would love to see one of these with eyetracking, to get an idea of what/where you tend to look at for these.
While nice, eyetracking is either quite expensive for a niche, or they will have data tracking, knowing what you look at more, looking at what items you look at but dont buy so they can eventually get someone to sell you a shitty version of that product for a very high price.
As for what to look for, the statues are one of the most telling missions. Just take a quick mental note of what they are, and whenever someone stands there for longer than 3 seconds staring at a single statue after the pick-up animation finished, they are instantly a suspect. NPC's have a very low chance of staring at statues for prolonged time.
Another quick one is if someone was looking at their watch/smartphone recently when the timer goes up.
The other missions are a bit hard to fake as an NPC. But that is just a case of observing NPC's. If someone does something no one else has done before, then either you are really unlucky, or they are the spy.
Honestly, my biggest peeve with this game, before they fixed it, was that if I lined up my shot and wanted to fire, an NPC that was just out of vision could rush into the same spot and get shot instead. It can still happen, but now I am fairly certain nearby NPC's are less likely to walk into your visor if you zoomed in.

Listen man… the largest tell I noticed almost immediately. The key is watching the long walks, anytime an npc encounters another npc they don’t correct they just clip through, they NEVER make single step sideways corrections, ever. So if you see someone step out of their path of travel then it’s a player 100%

Man, this sounds like an amazing game but found out it is GROSSLY overpriced. $25 for a game that everyone seems to agree should be 5 - 10? The price is by far the biggest thing holding it back.

The separate audio is good, but it's nice to hear the banter again.
Randomly got recommended this and had no idea what it was as I've never heard of this game but I'm immediately hooked! Will be watching a lot more of this now.
I have zero clue what this game is, but I think that makes it better to watch. Even at the end of the video, I have no idea what to look for or what’s going on (really) and when the round ends, for the only time in all of RUclips I’m delighted to reward and rewatch to see how my guess was incorrect. It’s a fascinating viewer experience.
I’m just imagining Dapper has “don’t be suspicious, don’t be suspicious…” playing in their head the entire game
If you haven't tried Prop Hunt, give it a look. Only instead of pretending to be an NPC, you pretend to be inanimate objects.
The last few speed rounds were the best. Contrary to the big maps, I am able to keep up with what is going on the screen. Definitely, the Library is the worst. Watching Sniper going left to right is super disorienting and nauseating.
I agree. Watching Dapper go left - right - left - right - left - right - left - right - left - right - tilt - left - right, is not enjoyable. It's hard enough to pick up on spy moves. All I need is someone shaking my chair and a small child jumping in my lap to make it completely unwatchable.

A mix of muting and unmuting would be great. Maybe if it's too intense to keep toggling during a match (worst of all if the opponent hears it when you didn't mean to), do half the video one with open coms and the other half with commentary on what you're thinking? Not sure but just pitching in to the common discussion here. I'm probably going to keep watching either way, it's fun to see people play this game with any amount of commentary :)

Am I the only one who has virtually no clue how you are finding each other? Granted I hardly know those game, I sort of understand now and I can’t keep track of anything and no clue how you are locating each other
Pretty much every action that isn’t done for the sake of blending in exposes you in some way if they’re able to spot it. Bugging the ambassador requires you to do an animation where your hand reaches out around your hip level. The microfilm has a similarly suspicious animation. Swapping statues can be noticed if the sniper memorizes what the statues are at the start of the round. If a sniper notices a spy checking their watch directly correlating to an increase in the timer it’s GG. Double Agent requires you to be the one talking and is exposed by BANANA BREAD. Of course for all of this the trick as a spy is to take advantage of the sniper being spread thin.
For example R1 he saw her put down the swapped statue, at 9:21 the guest list is gone from Toby’s tray and he puts together that she had to have taken it, and in R3 he gets caught in the act.

Personally prefer you guys muting and giving your perspectives because it gives me a reason to watch both yours and kAN’s videos- cause there is enough of a variance vs when you don’t there isn’t enough of a reason to watch both cause the content is the same just a slightly different perspective.

Adding a way to get the server to poison one of the drinks at the right time might be a fun way to add some utility to the sniper role. 1 per round poison goes in lasts maybe 15 seconds if you grab a drink within that time frame its a sniper win AI drinking the poison sniper loss.
This game is amazing. I've never seen it before and not even sure how you guessed each other. I love it! Good job RUclips algorithm. I'll search more on the game and maybe download.

i remember buying the game when it was on sale on steam and it didnt connect me to their servers pretty sure the servers are just fully down which is sad the game is cool
This game is too easy to play with only 2 players. The spy is always clipping and moves differently than the NPC's
I think u should announce when the finish timer is starting to give sniper a chance to kill the wrong person 😅
Oh, like "I've completed my tasks ;^) you gotta shoot" sounds pretty fun for watching! But one problem is that there's only 10 seconds after and if you tell about yourself immediately, it rules out the majority of suspects who didn't do anything in the past 2 seconds.
I wonder if you can configure it to be longer...

They made a pair of videos where they couldn't hear each other during the rounds, and they explained what they were looking for and trying to do. Those help clear up how the game works. Go watch those, then come back and enjoy the banter.

Banana bread is how you contact your double agent which gets that task done, however the sniper only has suspected double agents so if they suspect an npc who is near a suspected double agent, the spy can fake contact which will produce the same sound in order to trick the sniper
3:40 i dont wanna sound arrogant but i really feel like i would have won if i was the sniper here, the dude mentions hes suspicious of the red dress lady and then out of the blue the spy goes "yeah im doing stuff and you're missing it" like if he'd been doing it throughout the game it would be good trickery but it seems obvious given the context
I’ve never played this game before but it seems heavily in favor of the sniper the amount of tasks to do without raising suspicion when the sniper has a 50/50 of seeing you because the map is so small.

What is the "banana bread"?
I was wondering that too, but I think that's the "contact double agent" option, and they call it that because of the audio clip that plays saying "banana bread" (presumably a code word)
As Kitlith said it's the Double Agent option which basically lets the sniper know that anyone talking (aka in a circle) is the chance to be the Spy.

I'm so bad at spectating the sniper, I'm wrong 101% of the time haha
At 3:31 when you walked past 6 interaction points directly after getting sus I cringed. It's a hard tell because AI doesn't care about the sniper, they walk to a random objective. The chances of an AI blowing past 6 locations just to hide from the sniper is almost zero.
Here's what you do in that situation. Pick a random point on the deck RIGHT in front of the sniper. Immediately it will take all the heat of off of you because no rational player would so straight from a spy objective only to look at their watch and not add time. I've had someone literally watch me fail an objective but were so thrown off by that play that they ended up shooting someone else instead.
Another strategy to get heat off of you is to fake Banana Bread while the the double agent is in a different circle. If you green bar you can even cancel it into a walk which takes even more heat off of you (they're watching the real double agent, not you, so sus movement is OK) once they deselect you you're free to act as brazen as you want. Throw in disrespect with a cancelled redbar BB.

For the love of all things, dude. Please go back to the separate audio format. While you're concentrating on the win you don't say a single word, and the silence keeps getting interrupted by KaN's non-speech. It's fine in a relaxing game like that train sim, but he just keeps pulling me out of the game. I want to hear your strats, what you're thinking. I don't want 15% of his concentration devoted to saying more nonsense than a politician can fit in the same space of time.

What does banana bread do?
It's a signal to the double agent. Like a password for a sleeper agent. Can mean many things, from "The mission is a go." to "Banana bread."
Try the internet for that question per the maker of the game. Others will give you what "they" think the bananna bread is.
I my self like dryed cherrys in the bananna bread, made with sour cream and almonds over the top.
