- Hello guys :)!! Here is my cover of the "Simon's Theme" from Super Castlevania IV, the first game I ever played from Castlevania! I was really happy last year when they announced the brave Simon Belmont as a playable character for Super Smash Ultimate.

Imagine hearing this song play and a fog rolls in the room and in a flash you see a long chain lash out at your face. When you finally have enough might to get up you see a bold figure standing above you. It's Simon Belmont. I'd shit my pants lol.

Castlevania 4 has one of the best soundtracks in videogame history. Miss these good old gaming days
VERY happy to see the live broadcast pop up. Simon’s Theme is one of the best, and the entire soundtrack for IV is underrated for how different it is from the rest of the series's soundtracks.
The personal flourishes both make it your own and still have that classy Castlevania feel.

I wish I could like this 100 times. There is nothing more special than hearing music from games I played as a kid now covered in such a beautiful manner such as this. Back then people just never imagined that video game music was real credible music. Thank you so much for sharing your talent.

My first Castlevania was the original on NES. That one, Dracula's Curse and Super Castlevania IV I played through and managed to beat in my youth. A bit later on, I got through Symphony of the Night as well. It's a real pleasure hearing these great and nostalgic tunes covered so beautifully on the ivories.

Every time I hear tunes from this game, it takes me back to when I was a kid. Truly one of the best video game soundtracks of all time, eerie but beautiful. I read somewhere that they wanted the instrumentation to sound as if monsters had performed the music on creepy monster instruments they had built themselves. That does somehow come across. It sound otherworldly.
This is simply beautiful. Castlevania is my favorite series. My mother bought me the original Castlevania when ut first came out for the original Nintendo. The music has been so inspirational to me. Your rendition is gorgeous. Thank you.

I've been so impressed with each Castlevania cover I've heard you play so far... and then I found this one. One of my favorite songs to ever appear in a video game... and you absolutely nailed it. It made me emotional, just like the first time I heard it as a seven-year-old kid when Castlevania IV first came out. Beautiful work; you got yourself another subscriber.

danmanx2 I had that exact experience when I rented it for the first time at 10 years old. This was my first Castlevania game I fell in love with. My appreciation for the series did not happen till SOTN a few years later.

@@RobWarrior27 This was the same deal for me. Around 9-10 years old I borrowed the SNES game from a friend without knowing anything about it before. I loved that one, but when Symphony of the Night came out (my mom bought it on a whim, no idea what it was about), I was instantly sucked into it-I wasn't ready for how long and detailed that game turned out to be, but there were so many unique and addictive qualities. Figures, because I loved the first three Metroid games as a kid.
My first impression was "oh God this feels weird" because after playing so much of the nes games and rondo and bloodlines 4s control is just.... Strange
Whew, this made the hair on my arms stand up! This was from the first Super Nintendo game I ever played back when it came out and it's still one of my all time favorites.

I remember a reviewer at the time in a magazine for the SNES which said a mixture of 'super market sounding tunes'. I couldn't believe it, I was amazed by the composition. I think of that review every time i hear this track. Great to see it will live on and played, great job!
