Holy cow, what a VOICE she had! Love this band…
Wow. She’s even better now than she was then. Great vocals! Cool!
Agree, unbelievable!
Finally, a real live recording for a performance that does not use a commercial track.

Cool to see they were still able to rock in 1980. A very underappreciated band in the USA.
@BenjaminGLeeI wonder the same thing. This band had so many great songs that it seems impossible they weren’t a huge success. It probably had a lot to do with mismanagement. I believe they only did one small tour here in America and that definitely hurt their success here. But still, it had to be more than that.
Not really the grunge band nirvana was influenced by them believe it or not
Wonderful Shocking Blue with Mariska Veres.. They took me back to my childhood, when my hippie young aunts used to listen to this tune endlessly.. Thanks a lot for this late video..
Verry good consortium on stage..👍🙏
Great! Shocking Blue forever...
The best Dutch band bar none, Tee Set and the George Baker Selection were good. But Shocking Blue will forever be in this American boys heart.
This could be their best live performance. Mariska sounded very strong and better than ever. And she looked better than 10 years earlier.
Man, they kick in the door!
Them Dutch had them some awesome bands back in the day - yeah.
I reaaly like this more hard edged rock hard rock versiin alot she should have released it as as a studio version album track
She had nothing to do with releasing it. She didn’t write it. It was Robbie’s song. Robbie has total control over what happens with that song.
I agree this was an underrated band but in this version I like how they changed up the guitar in the vocals was good and so was everything else.
👍👍👍
✨ heaven ☰ sent 🥂 🎉
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
As good maybe even a better performance than when it was #1 in the U.S. in 1970. I agree this was an underrated band.
❤️🙏
Perfectamundo the older and bigger she got the more beautiful she became
😂😅😊❤ your Life... and she's girls { may love. maLive ❤❤❤
cool, robbie playing a 12 string, they switched up the tempo and song a bit, mariska always looked effortlessly singing but she had a powerful voice.
Yeah and they seemed to be the only original members there?
Yes, this is much faster than the studio version (I rather enjoy this one though).
nice
HERE THIS SONG
NIGHT AN DAY...
ALL THANKS TO THE P.A SYSTEM OVER AT THE USED CAR LOT 😁
Weed Me
I'm now becoming a dj and doing remixes for this kind of music...so please if your a black ⚫ rapper good luck cause we don't wanna know
The vocalist better than in 1970 live, guitarist weaker..
Too fast, and the drummer screwed the beat up right away! That bothers me! Chew him,out back stage, lol….
Better than the record bands get hyped up live
This version is too fast.
I would be good if she could sing in key!
Bubble gum rock!! They were o.k.
That's BubbleGum? To me,that was good yet hard rocking tune.Bubble Gum is the 1910 Fruit Gum Company,The Ohio Express and the Kasenetz Super Circus/Singing Orchestra.
@@danvanlandingham3854 maybe folk rock, like the tune but too simple! One shot deal!
@@danvanlandingham3854 and lets not forget the freakin archies and the king, david cassidy
No not Bubble gum. They were very cool.
@@ernestnunez803 this was one of the coolest songs of the 60's
Bravo Mariska veres❤
Trying a bit too hard 😗
