"Particles is the moment when your feet leave the ground and, very slowly, you ascend higher and higher. All worries, obstacles and uncertainties become smaller and smaller. They shatter into 1000 particles, float past you into space - and you fly, completely free." This is how Puder describes the third single release Particles from her new album Aha. Ok. Let's Surf The Planet, which was released on March 22.
"Particles convinces with classic dreampop and trip-hop elements" writes Gästeliste.de and Westzeit.de calls the sound of the album "broken, electronic, but definitely pop-oriented". If we now add the beautiful three-part chorus vocals, that's pretty accurate. Live, the song, which can also be danced to, develops into the album's secret hit.
Particles was created as part of the seventh Puder Session Tapes in Hamburg in February 2023 and, like the whole album, is a live recording from the Future Echoes Showcase Festival 23 in Sweden. Guests of the session are the Dutch alternative singer Eliën, the Spanish-based Portuguese jazz double bassist Jorge da Rocha and the Portuguese electronic musician and beatmaker St. James Park.
