Hi, I'm trying to find the video you did of solving battery health on iOS 18 and above through 3utools, specifically so that 3utools shows 100% health after flashing and you discovered that the only way to achieve this was to restore and update in tunes. I'm having the same problem. I tried in itunes but no luck. I also tried in JCID repair assistant but it does never completes the flashing. My question is do you leave the tag on flex connected to the battery when updating in itunes? Thanks in advance
Thanks for sharing this I really appreciate it. I have small repair outfit and it went mostly smoothly for an iPhone 11. I may not have trimmed leads enough on core battery as battery cover piece wouldn’t completely cover. It worked for 3 days and now battery message returned. Any thoughts? I was able to change battery health and cycles without issue. I did use a regular battery prior. The only difference of note is I used interstellar apollo one. It appeared to work? How come you didn’t continue to use? Could it require copy power? The apollo one isn’t even reading original serial number on battery I ported data and flex cable to. Am I screwed? Thanks

Yes, you can always use an aftermarket battery without swapping the bms. You’ll just have to deal with the notification and not battery health in the settings, both most people can live with.
noticed some people didn't understand what was going on. The board removed is what contains the genuine apple information. problem is, it also contains the ORIGINAL batteries cycle count and capacity % in this case battery had 87% capacity and 1000 cycles. if you just connect the board to the battery, it will still show as 87% and your customers will think you didn't change the battery.

yes, you need the tag on flex for the 11 series and up. The new core battery may need to be charged a little as well, or I've found that it helps to charge it up a little before altering the data.

This is intentionally done so that consumers cannot fix their devices as doing so themselves would mean a significant drop in sales.
