This was that other funk band that was very mysterious....I thought it was sort of ohio players or P-funk or the NEXT funk band....closer to george clinton type stuff but I had the promo copy and we went crazy out here in sanfrancisco off the whole album! I only remember 1 album though but this was never on the radio....but very popular funk!
Recently an acetate of previously unreleased Crowd Pleasers tracks (pre-Westbound LP) sold for $6,800 on EBAY. Hope it gets remastered and released someday....
