Larry, thank you for yet another "useable info packed" video... You always stick points and explain things in such a clear & precisely manner. Your style is much appreciated!
Impossible to say Richard. The MP race has slowed and doesn't seem to be as urgent and pressing as it may have seemed years ago. Canon is mum on this topic. >Mark
I have the 5DS R and love it, I love it so much, just bought a 5DS today, only 19k shutter count so more than happy. I tend to shoot it in 1.3 crop, far easier and saves time.
Hello! Despite these two camera have 6 or 7 years, I would like to know which camera would you recommend to photograph artwork like oil paintings, regarding the filters. Thank you in advance!
If you intend to print the images with the highest possible image quality, the Canon 5DSR would be best since it offers the low pass filter cancellation.
Will canon bring another updated version of 5dsr? if they do, it will bring life back in dslr. I know many photographer still use dslr and creating beautiful images, although many are Switch to mirrorless
This is an incredible video. Thank you for posting. What was really helpful was the footage of Rudy Winston saying that we have the option of shooting in Raw Medium at 28 megapixels, or Raw Low at 12 mp. No other video has mentioned this.
Teddy Harman I own both the 5DM3 and 5Ds. Both are marvelous cameras; can’t really compare the two because they each have strengths and weaknesses. Well, ok; the 5DM3 really doesn’t have many weaknesses if I’m being honest. But the 5Ds is a beast-i absolutely love it. Get your hands on it and give it a try!
Gnaaaaaah! Would be great to take one of those with me to Norway in two weeks... But then I`d have to sale my car which would cancel the whole vacation :D
this is like a 5dmk2 with 50mp and better cross types, same 5fp and iso6500 low light is no problem sports can be tricky dont depend on the camera always depend on your skills. by the way all cameras shutter speed max is 8000 and 6400 is on most dont let the gimmicks play games n you.
Canon has done it again.
Amazing camera for Professional photographer.
There is not a perfect camera but this one is the one for my shooting style.

Absolutely love my Canon 5Ds and yes the images really are stunning and make a difference compared to 22 mega pixels of the 5D mkiii
At 11:47 I 💚 love the bow tie of Gregory Heisler.
😂
Imagine creating 8K time lapse through that camera! Won't it be Gorgeous?
this is 4 years ago, so will Canon have a 100 MP soon to match the Hasselblad?

First! Cool! I hope I can have the 5DsR! What was used to record the camera's screen at 6:15?

Both the 5Ds and the 5DS R have been discontinued

i love this camera
Can you shoot HSS with a moonlight with 5Dsr
I just ordered the 5DS R :D
Like it? I got one the other day and absolutely love it.
Larry, please as your experience on these both cameras, which one is better?

And yet these cameras at 50 megapixels can't do 4k or even 1080p 60fps :/
Always remembering that image quality is as reliant on lens quality as it is on camera capability. Don't expect stunning images with cheap glass.
Thank you.

You said: Impressive dynamic range... Are you sure?
