If they haven't already, I'm assuming they'll come up with a two way USB adapter that allows a second USB to be plugged in and be attached to an outlet or charger so you won't have to rely on just your phone's power to use it.
they are very pointless and a time waster in 2024. If you try installing the LG Friends manager (from apkpure or apkmirror) the app force closes upon opening. I tried in an old Android Samsung Note9. So maybe it has to be specific to this LG G5.
Great review, I came here intrigued by design to get an idea of what could be possible. I think Sony will endeavour for a design like this for a PSVR2, if they could. But I imagine that there would be a wearable breakout box for the battery, wireless and processing chips. Good to know something like this can be comfortable, and very impressed by LG's solution to prescription glasses. I hope Sony"s R&D are watching all these videos! Lol

Get a Usb type c hub for couple dollars and can charge it simultaneously or run off an power bank, or alternate option, get a extended battery back and cover kit with either a 6000mah or 10000mah extended battery pack,
How is the video file compatibility? Can it play back a regular 2d mkv file, just duplicating the image for each eye? Can the video fill the entire display, or can you only view videos within a 3d theater? I have a cardboard headset that I have used to watch 2d mkv files, filling the entire display. No 3d theater nonsense, just good for laying down in bed or on a plane. The headset is a little bulky and heavy though, so this small one would be very cool.
in my country still at $200 price. i guess my country dont know anything about price or product deprication🤦♂️. glad im still using and enjoying cinema video samsung gear vr oculus for my s8+ with Quadhd🤗
@@internetwebschool The glasses do not work with it. Which sucks because the screen resolution is the same, same brand, newer and USB-C. I have a G5 and to tell ya the truth it's not even worth it for this, RUclips doesn't even work on it, The phone gets hotter and the battery drains very quickly while the resolution is worse than you'd get putting it in a cheap VR headset and with the cheap head set you can do way more with it.
