    This is such a stunning piece! I'm curious, do you do any finish sanding over the wood carving? I struggle to get my own wood carving to look that smooth at the end, and sanding often removes all the small details.

    Not bad, but I think you missed a design opportunity. If you had left the tool marks on the underside, and continued your gouge work down the length of the legs, you could have left the top entirely smooth.

    Carving and burnishing in one stroke. I wonder that he is so slow or if this is for the benefit of the video.
