At one time it was an old orchard filled with beautiful fruit trees. You can not see the house from the road but once you arrive you would never know you were any where near a road!
It is a unique property because you are in a country like setting, down from the beach, and only 35 minutes away from Boston. You are 1.3 miles from the brand new Manchester school system and around the corner from Black and White beach! What more could a buyer ask for? Going for a walk on Ocean street is like feeling like you are on vacation.The neighborhood is private and you hardly ever see a soul until you leave the property. The backyard has a cozy, custom built fire pit that entices people to pull up a chair and gather around for a fire. Roasting marshmallows is a must! The pool is a lovely, manageable size with complete privacy as well. It gets the sun all day long and is a peaceful way to spend the day. Thanks to the reasonable size of the pool it is easy to take care of as well.
It is a wonderful place to raise a family. The layout of the house is open and bright. It lends itself to entertaining. Due to the many rooms it is conclusive to parents feeling like their kids are not around because of the ability to shut doors on different wings of the house and different levels and never know they are there. What makes this house so special is the airy, open, bright, cheerful feeling you get the minute you enter through the two, huge Mahogany Front doors that are probably the most beautiful front doors this side of the Mississippi!The foyer is spectacular with a custom staircase that dramatically sets the stage for an entrance of grandeur. The step down living room is warm and inviting with a fireplace and wet bar. The kitchen (being the focal part of any family) is magnificent with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace and huge cathedral ceilings. It is an open kitchen with a granite bar and counter tops and a living room to watch TV as the family gathers for family time.
There is a fabulous media room again with complete ability to shut the door and have privacy.The master bedroom is like a combination of a bedroom/living room with an elegant fireplace and a cozy balcony over looking the back yard. You can also see views of Kettle Cove from the master bedroom. It is private and elegant.The two bedrooms across the house on the second floor are far enough away from the master bedroom to allow full privacy but close enough if you have children and want access to them easily. They are good size rooms, one being more like a suite.The third floor overlooks beautiful views of the property and can be used as a guest room, library, or gym there is also a huge attic with plenty of storage space. The home overall is large but surprisingly manageable and lends itself to a wonderful life in a beautiful seaside town. It is a private, serene, environment to live in with elegance and practicality and convenience all wrapped into one!!

As mere japanese who has grown up in japan where boasts small houses and rooms, I simply dont understand why some are saying this is crap ..
For us , this is more than perfect.

Somebody has quite the collection of throw rugs! They even layered throw rugs over carpet. 🤣
I really like this house....Of course there are a few things that I didn't like about it...As big as that house was the kitchen should have been bigger....I didn't really care for all of that red velvet where the billiard table was...Landscaping could have been more reflective of the elegance of the home, very boring...I liked the design and openness of the house,. I also liked the fact that the property was set so far back from the main road..
The ugly furniture and cheap looking pool gives the impression the owners were living above their means.

The landscape is odd...too many bushes at front entrance and weird how the trees are position at the pool area. Some areas are small while most are huge.🥺
The home shows like it has 3 different families with 3 different income levels living together

Extremely disappointing. Not only did the house looked like crap and cheaply made. Most of the visual tour was out of focus.
