The piano had non-working B4 key. The keyboard was taken apart and fixed. The problem was found to be with a rubber contact pad that got stuck in a strange twisted position somehow.
I've got a similar problem with the F2 key (sometimes it plays, sometimes not). Too bad I don't feel brave enough to get the pieces apart as you have shown in the video! Thanks for posting this video - it helps me articulate what kind of help I need from Kawai's customer services (:
How do you fix a record button that doesn't work. I followed the manual. It flashed but as soon as I start playing it turns off. The play/stop button never lights up with it.
Does that key have more travel than the others, ie, the travel stop is broken, because it looks like that soft post buckled and popped to the side from being compressed too far.

Maybe someone struck that key with sufficient force to cause the stem to deform? Love those easy fixes!
