Great job on the build, I'm just starting to build my own on Thursday. Just a heads up... it seems as though you have the shoulders swapped, long silver in the back and 2 silver dots are supposed to be in the front.

Just sat down with my Artoo to go though voice commands it was like talking to a kid. Anyway, it's good to see more like droids that are working well. It would be good to get a few together for a meeting or something.
I never experienced any problem with screw sizes, I just organized them as I got them but they could have labeled the bags and the screw box for ease of sorting. I have kept all the spare screws from the build too.

@@neonlightking8399 its ok to build but when it comes to the wiring you have to check connections are definitely in the right sockets on the circuit boards as there is a lot of wire's to fit in a small space ! R2d2 works on its own or remotely with an app on your phone !
Check all connections first, when everything was complete and ready to start up for the first time did you plug in the charger for a few seconds then disconnect charger ? If you didn't then it won't work !
The Sphero R2D2 accually does more at a fraction of the price. Disappointed in this. A lot of money for not that much function. But saying that this looks nice all the same.
Sphero is plastic and its also very small compared to this one.There is no comparison between the 2 . You are paying more because of the build quality and size. if you want a small rc r2 the sphero is great. You want a larger better looking , better parts, and not spend 15 grand making a full size one this is it

Two years as i got the parts on monthly prosription and cost about £890 hear in the uk !
You can now buy the full kit from Deagostini, Modelspace ! Instead of a monthly subscription !
It was a great two years it would of been more enjoyable if Deagostini labelled the screws it would of been much easier
I used a vernier to measure the screws which made it a bit easier!
