I guess I'd have to agree. Burn Burn will probably be the best album since Spiritual Machines which is kinda sad in a way. We'll never hear Raine sing like to did on Spiritual Machines and all the albums prior to that again but at least these songs are catchy again (Innocent was pretty good too don't get me wrong).
honestly this album sounds very different i like gravity alot because its a mix of there grunge and more mellow stuff and spiritual machines is and amazing the concept is something i feel stongly about but since healthy in paranoid times came out there sound has been a bit more generic in alot of ways indie but then again OLP are OLP and theye will always be great!!
It's a top 12 list on MySpace. It doesn't mean anything. He has other acts he'd probably rather support as well. I don't think Steve, Jeremy or Duncan are in the top 12 list either.
I know nobody wants to criticize Raine but what if it was Raine's idea to hire Bob Rock instead of Bob Rock's idea to go mainstream that pissed Turner off?
i've begun to like olp less and less since raine stopped singing falsetto. they've lost a bit of their sound because of it. still a great band but just not the same.
Thanks, plus i keep listening to all there albums and Raine's solo album all soo good, just hope the new albums comes out soon..
Awesome! Can't wait to hear the new record
No one should judge the music until the album is out, soo looking forward to it :)
dont forget about spiritual machines, great cd with some great work by turner
for real!!! and Mike Turner
steve mazur is pretty awesome though, just watch there live dvd just a great performance :)
That must be it. har har.
@kennygmang Fuck yeah
Hmmm
To go to a more mainstream sound and make everything cleaner.
i had high hopes for this album but everythings sounding like the garbage they had on healthy in paranoid times
If there were no hard feelings, then why isn't Mike on Raine's friends list on Myspace? (or at least not in the top 12)

I think Fair Ground is done. He's in Crash Karma now.

Mike Turner may be a great guitarist..but remember Raine had creative control..so how much "inovative creativity" did Turner really produce?

haha look at raine, compared to a hunter lulaby he looks liek a completely different person xD

So far I've heard 4-5 songs from the upcoming album and I'm quite disappointed. This sounds totally uninspired compared to past albums.
sounds funky... but raines voice is done. Terrible preformance.
One of their worst songs and worst albums....the forced "bridge" is laughable
