Just read so many comments below actually praising this shit show. FDNY best in the world? Don’t make me laugh.
They are the Worst in the world. Fireplayers is more like it.
well make me laugh. pick another FD. that has 8 million people living in their city and on a work day 12 million with commuters and tourist. Pick another city that has hundreds of thousands 6 stories MD's and thousands of high rises , tax payers ,row frames c,queen ann's ,private dwelling etc. ya cant so shut you holes.
Tokyo?
@@YelpBullhorn your kidding. please tell me your kidding. Tokyo was built after WW 2 with the destruction it had. NY was never bombed to rubble. Yes,Tokyo has the largest fire dept. in the world. FDNY then Paris. But Tokyo has no where near the work or building types as NYC. Back in the 60's;70's,80's & 90's no one in the world did and still dont do what FDNY does today.
give me an area in Tokyo that can match the So. Bronx. All Bronx. Harlem, Inwood, Bed Sty.,So Jamica; Brownsville; Lower East side Etc. Paris does more fire duty than Tokyo. Watch on you tube a BBC Doc. " The Bronx is burning " then tell us who does fire duty. Ill wait for this one.
@@jhamil4622.... so what? Yeah New York is unique, it's an amazing city, but you think they'd know what theyre doing by now. But no their firefighters are amateurish at best. Compared to the rest of the developed world all US fire departments are amateurish too. I don't think they're taught the importance of water, and how it helps to get water on the fire as soon as possible. UK firefighters get water down within 30 seconds of arrival on most occasions. Show me a video on here where your scruffy 'swagger men' are doing that! I bet you can't. The way you do things over there beggars belief to those of us over here. I'm not the only one who thinks that: there are thousands of comments on here from seasoned European firefighters, so you're telling me they're all wrong? Not having it. Why don't put down your Stars an' Stripes, get off your high horse and think about it impartially. Yes us Brits get it wrong.... Grenfel Tower springs to mind.... but nearly every video on YT depicting US firefighters makes us Europeans look on agog. You have an engine crews who seem very reluctant to get the water flowing, and then ladder crews whose only role it seems is to completely destroy the property they've been sent to save. Give me the European model ANY DAY!
