      It doesn’t matter if a question is valid - if it is not worded properly, the objection has to be sustained. The defense knows this. The day he was being tried, he asked his mom to wear the Ring to court. There's photos with Nicole's ring on Glen Roger's mom's finger. Prosecutor Lally is an embarrassment in this trial and displaying the exact reason WE NEED AUDITORS for all aspects of law to ensure integrity is sustained within the judicial system, policy & procedure! Jen McCabe, Matt McCabe & lead investigator Michael Proctor lead the blind folded investigation. Trooper Paul was all over the place, clearly not qualified to make an analysis based on his testimony. FBI already ruled out the possibility of a pedestrian collision. (Remember 3 PHD’s for a non bias opinion) Brian Albert was/is a Boston PD officer which is where they also found John O’Keefe’s body who was also a Boston Police officer. They found John’s body on Brian Albert’s lawn and Brian decided to stay in his house and never attempt to help and NOT 1 of the investigators found it important to ask “Can We Search Your Home”!!! Instead of the system investigating that, verifying their evidence with physics or asking simple basic questions around actual evidence, Judge Aunt Bev instead sustains answers that would actually answer the defense’s question. This is disgraceful, an injustice and an embarrassment to our legal system! WHERE ARE THE AUDITORS FOR THIA CASE???!!!!

    1161 Read drives to her parents' house in Crichton
    1162 TROOPER PROCTOR SEIZED CAR AND IT IS DRIVEN ONTO A FLATBED.....This Key Cycle is where what Trooper Paul called the "triggering" is!! Something happens to the car here...not at the death scene nor in the sally port.
    1163 Last key cycle as car is started and driven into Canton PD sally port.
    THE DEFENSE HAS TO HAMMER THIS DOWN WITH AN EXPERT. More than enough reasonable doubt and the Defense hasn't even presented their case yet.

      This doesn’t make sense. You’re saying in the 12,000ish total miles that the Lexus has been driven, EVERY key cycle is counted. With that logic, that means every time she started her car she drove an average of less than a mile. See what I mean by that? There’s 11,064 key cycles. The car has almost 13,000 miles on it. Especially since they clearly had been arguing for days, and she admitted to hitting him. I’m more surprised though that the lawyers havent gone over the material they plan on using - and that both parties agree on. As well as putting up a proper timeline for the trial. I think the biggest mistake by the defense is that they overpromised. It seems very unlikely that Google search happened in the middle of the night as they claimed. That of course doesn't help the prosecution prove guilt but it's a dent in the credibility for the defense.

    • @drewc771

      I agree. Not only that, now, today, they have insinuated that Proctor deleted the search by going into the phone extraction data and adjusting it in a way that only a PhD computer scientist would be able to accomplish. That is so far-fetched, it has to turn off some jurors that may be on the fence, I was laughing today when I heard Yanetti cross the guy from England with those crazy questions. They should not have asked him a single question. If that is their accusation at this point, why not let your expert testify to how someone could accomplish deleting only a single search from the extraction data. Judging from today’s witness, it would be almost impossible to accomplish without detection, though.

    • @nelsona8285
      @nelsona8285 3 месяца назад

      @@redcharm6173 It's not a battle of the experts. The defense is making an affirmative third party claim saying corrupt cops killed John and other corrupt cops covered it up. As a juror, the evidence: previous vacation where Karen Read acted irrationally when she thought a woman was flirting with JO, her alcohol intake the night he died, her tail light pieces being found the same day where O'Keefe was found. Her statements about hitting him on the day he was found. Versus: If you believe that is a more reasonable cause than multiple people, who may or may not know each other, conspired to conceal a murder and blame an innocent person. The jurors are given two possible reasons for his death and will choose what makes more sense.

I believe he’s a fall guy for this terrible culture within that police department. If his employer cared about his wellbeing, they would have prepared him better for the questions that could have been asked of him. Regardless of innocence or guilt for Karen, or a terrible police investigation - and just focusing on his performance as a professional witness - until you’ve been a witness on the stand and had your livelihood and professional experience questioned under cross examination, you will never understand how stressful it actually is. I believe that this guy may be very new to the court space and testifying. He absolutely fell apart, but it doesn’t mean he’s not qualified to do his job. I do feel for him. His employer has not given him enough training in the space of testifying in court. Let alone having to do it on live stream television. Poor guy.
