i pretty much agree with everything you both said here. it's a weird season where i'm actually rooting for every single one of them. i will be perfectly fine with a Dee win: she deserves it. but it would also be amazing to see Jake idol Dee out at 5 and end up winning. i'll miss Alrexa. you're adorable, brilliant and insightful.
I think Katurah’s ideal F3 is Jake and Austin. Katurah has stated that Julie, Emily, and Dee are the biggest threats. If that persists then she will probably want to sit next to Jake and Austin.
I think Austin underestimates Dee. I liked young Drew and the way he played, I am happy with his game. But Austin's reward win and Dee's immunity win were amazing 🙂
I told in the predictions episode that Drew is out of the picture now 🙂 But I am unhappy with the way Austin has lost the sight of the prize. It is final 5 now, and Dee is winning I guess. Happy to see Alexa for these last few days 🙂
there really is an opportunity for an amazing 2-2-1 vote at final 5. that would cement dee legacy for seasons to come. julie and katurah vote for jake , jake plays idol and votes for dee but dee and austin vote julie and julie leaves. if this happens she wins then and there. good luck . will be a great final to see.
I don’t understand why people have shit so much on the season? Survivor superfans go back and rewatch shittier seasons than this all the time! Right? What we are seeing is the most "obvious" winner in the new era because of near flawless gameplay! What do people want? Constant mistakes and rebounds by the person who eventually wins? Now... I will say, from a gamplay perspective, I love Dee being ruthless and not returning the favor of knowledge to Austin. But, from a personal perspective, you two NAILED it... it's so rough and pretty brutal! 🤣 I wonder how he's gonna handle it coming back to camp next week?! Because the Dee and Austin thing is the prime example of an in-game relationship that is NOT equal. If anything, Austin almost pretty throwing his game away to Dee without meaning to, and Dee is sitting back and absorbing all the perks that comes with that and saying, "I'm not throwing my game away! Are you nuts?" It’s cold, it's harsh. But that's the game. Maybe something can still blossom from this for the two of them. But, it starts with Austin being able to accept that this was never a mutual, 50/50 relationship. His willingness to share information does not mean Dee was always going to do the same in return. And, that can be a rough pill to swallow when you are so smitten. His style of play is very genuine, and her style of play is a clear cut scenario of "sorta destroy his game along the way, and then drag him to the end". 🤷♂️
Pretty accurate description of the two peoples' games. But Austin can make a million bucks anywhere outside, so he's more interested in Dee than winning the game. If Austin played a cut-throat game, then Dee wouldn't have survived.

I could be wrong. But, I think her making the choice to flirt with Austin stemmed from her being able to read that he was loyal, and was a bit more strategic at at first. That's oftentimes the case for guys who fall for the ladies! 😂 Female players know guys will be more loyal, and most of the time the girls won't be as loyal to the guy. Lol! That's why guys, especially, need to turn the love goggles OFF out there! And it's okay Survivor is my favorite t v show but I also understand that's going to be times why you have boring seasons I just hope the next one is really good
Bad move by Austin, he should've played his idol for Drew. I guess he didn't want to deceive Dee. He's infatuated. Her legs have more power than those idols, literally, they've won her immunity twice. The only thing that will save the season is if Dee does not win.

Straight edit talk. I feel like this is the very first episode we've seen that has shown us who Katurah thinks her ally is. Seems like they would have shown that more considering how far both players have come. If Dee is the winner they could show us more about that relationship. I think Katurah being so one dimensional is bad for Dee, edit wise. And mentioning how the Jake/Katurah scene was placed to show off how Jake was right again and Katurah made a bad move, I think it's possible Dee doesn't make it to final 3, and Jake takes it. He moved from tree to, background character, to goat in wolf's clothing, to lead actor. Jake from early on was talking about people aren't playing. He often is shown with the short end of the stick on the island, but saying the correct things that he just couldn't get other people to go along with it. Maybe I'm naive, but I wouldn't be surprised with a Jake win based on the edit. Dee and Julie can go back to back with a Jake, Austin, Katurah final three. And the editors have made it so of those three its the sandwhich guy, the Bruce hater, and this sympathetic and dynamic person in Jake. It doesn't matter if this is Dee and Julie's move if neither of them are in the final three.

Jake was not part of the group that blindsided Kendra nor Kellie and made them feel stupid. Emily said she'd vote Julie, but in this scenario Julie and Dee aren't an option. She's not an emotional players and her vote will hinge on how well their games were. Jake probabaly needs to do something with his idol and be the one to take out Julie or Dee. He needs to either win at fire and take out the other, or at least be the winner of the challenge and choose the competitors, and not the one one taken to the end. (From the edit we did see him and Katurah practicing.) Drew votes Austin. For all we know, once Dee and Julie get to the jury, they convince everyone else (maybe rightly so) a heavy amount of the credit goes to Dee and Julie. I don't think he wins against Dee. To me arrogant is being cocky and bragging about your own abilities, I didnt see that from Drew. I saw confidence or believed he was going to make it to the end of the game in that last episode.
But there have been so many obvious winners in the new era and none have panned out yet. So Dee winning would be the first time an obvious winner edit actually resulted in a win since Tony. Jesse, Ricard, and even Mike to an extent, all come to mind. Sometimes the obvious winner has to win or it becomes obvious that the player edited that way can’t win. She doesn’t even lead in confessionals or anything, she’s just playing the game so well it seems obvious.

For me, Drew comes across as arrogant, instead of confidant. There is a fine line between the two. The former is annoying. Imo anyway.
