I'm so pleased that you used tips and tricks and not hacks which gets my goat, great tips as well!

Clever! I never thought of doing that and I have both stoves (and a bunch more)! Adds more flexibility to the arsenal. Well spotted!

Same mods work with the Evernew alcohol burner and crossbars. One of my favorite setups for a canteen pot and nesting cup (Boundless Voyage 750ml). Not as effective as an iso/gas burner but it’s sooooo much more quiet, which is important during my “quiet time” camping trips.

I totally agree, I'm thinking of getting the titanium version of these stoves now

I made a burner out of a 35ml travel deodorant bottle with a few layers of carbon felt. It fits nicely in an unmodified BCB stove with two 40ml bottles of meths and a lighter. Nice compact stove for a day hike. It's featured in my channel if you are interested. I never thought to fit a trangia burner so I will definitely give that a go but I find them a bit overpowered for boiling 300ml or so of water for a brew. Having said that your design may work with the simmer ring due to the open side. Iv got to give that a go as well.

Good video and well thought out to modify that stove. I sometimes modified the Esbit stove in such a way that I made additional parts for it, with the help of which the Esbit stove can burn wood or use the Trangia alcohol and gas burner. All additional parts go inside the stove body during transport. Works well.

Very nice mods! You just gave me a better solution to a pot stand for combining my BCB Fire Dragon stove with my Grayl titanium cup sleeve. I used to either use two aluminum tent stakes as a pot stand or a stainless 5" x 5" grill grate, but combining the Boundless Voyage alcohol stove, the Boundless Voyage pot stand, and the BCB Fire dragon is great!

I wish I could get a hold of the Ti sleeve, glad I inspired you bud

I just cover the fuel compartment with aluminium foil to provide a seal for liquid fuel. Works well and no need to carry extra pieces.

have a older 'carrie cooker' did some wind screen mods to it. as it does not come with those. went a tried the stove with charcoal briquets. fitted 4 into the pan. got my usual 1 hour burn time. what i found out is the heat source is much too close to the food. will burn if not watching over it. distintince from heat to food at 3cm. would work if you could increase distintince to 7/8cm.

Hi! Where did you get the pot (cross) stand for the b25 Trangia burner? Can not seem to find it anywhere...
Nice video btw, this is gonna be a lightweight solution for my everyday carry.
