Especially considering D2 and D3 players dont get much attention at all and there's a lot of really good underrated D2/D3 players in the nation! Only like what, 2-3 D3 college players got drafted last year to the NFL, but a bunch more got signed to practice squads and whatnot throughout the season already. Would be awesome to give the underdogs some shine is all Im suggesting! @deestroying to stop that West coast tap and snap offense, you come out in 46 strong all game with a qb spy, it locks down quick jumps off the snap, and makes plays have to zone together effectively mismatches their offense.
we ran this D in HS against our rivals and it worked first time, but we lost 21-20, second time we played em in semi-finals and we got beat 40-0. 46 works against this Offense sometimes. But if those boys upfront aren’t big and strong enough the other team is just gonna bully you.
The real answer to this Offense is just be really disciplined, no matter what form u come out in. 4-3/3-4/46/4-3-2 Just be disciplined and be strong up front.
It’s called a triple option offense and when ran effectively u can’t rly “stop” it but it’s very hard to run.
I would say run a 4-4 have the strong safety come down and as a 4 linebacker/corner and just let ‘em read the play if he can
naw you run a 3-4 or a 4-3 with a winning d line... if your dline cant win vs option plays its gg... its kinda like a screen if your d line falls for it its up to your dbs which is iffy.

Gotta have a DE that’s disciplined enough to squeeze down the line of scrimmage and be able to hold his position when those pulling guards come. Dude gettin ate up every time they come to the left side
Had a teammate go to odu and he loved option offenses or wing t, while us dbs hated it he loved getting free pops on QBs and backs thinking they gonna run in a messy pile

how to stop this offense? you run a 4-6 defense and have ur biggest 4 down D-linemen in the middle while u have two speed Demond LB on the outside. You have your SS up as a linebacker supporting you MLB and have ur FS roaming the deep middle. And then have ur CB play press all game and rotate them. Thats how we stopped every team that ran that offense.

I played this offense a lot in high school and the only way we were able to slow it down was play assignment football meaning everybody on defense had their specific role.
yeah we faced the same type of offense and ran our version of it in high school as well. being a linebacker, each linebacker was assigned to a specific back and were tasked with blowing them up every play.
What? Everyone on defence does have a specific role... That's football.

Here’s how to get more respect from school officials and field mangers. Have each school create a donating campaign that goes towards the students sports, e.g., equipment. With millions of views, there’s a lot of incentive for school to give you all access. Or at the least, share information about the school in the description.
D has to get more into the high school football scene THIS WAS NOT AN UPSET! I don't know what made him think Folsom was going to beat De la salle. Even at a 3-2 record, De la salle was the clear favorite to win this game. Those two losses came from teams that is ranked higher than Folsom by at least 10 spots.
D is a private school basically an academy for football
De La salle plays teams all over the nation, Folsom only played teams that are in the Sacramento area

Most kids go there for the title of de la salle. usually how it works for football know. Heck kids I know live next to me and drive like 45 minutes to folsom just to play for them, because they are better than all of the other teams in the cif play area.

Exactly!!! I agree!! You could also blitz the middle LB to the A gap of the strength (not all the time tho), have both outside LB's scrape and keep outside/inside containment. By that way, either u trun it into the D-end (If he can get off his block) or you make the tackle. And 95% of the time, FOLLOW THE FULLBACK when playing against the wing formation.

Yo Folsom just played the same team and beat them in the section championship
16:17 I would personally fill the box primarily on the line. Ideally like 5+ down lineman isn't ideal but all these guys will do is options and maybe a few swing/screens So it is definitely necessary. Next maybe 2 contain backers: strong side backer being more for run support and weak side would maybe be a cover backer/bigger DB. Than on the next level 3 backers lined up in the gaps the down lineman aren't covering/filing. Also those 5 down lineman would be in a strong side shift for me, or just towards the heavier side to match up bodies. Than the remaining 2 positions would probably be DBs: One being a roam safety so they would be 10 yards back and just roam to any open space that isn't vacated 12 yards of the LOS. Than lastly a DB of any sorts to support a possible receiving threat or coverage duties. You'd probably have to run zone blitz' too cause the quickness they hand it off with is deceiving. If i had a week to plan I would probably also incorporate a few pre defense shifts to throw off the offense. So maybe initially showing a 7 man front and than the backers shift out back to the second level to drop into zone or get a good start at the run gap.
A simple way to combat it is to have gap protection on defense. How my school did it was people stayed on someone until they had to move and they never over-pursued. Also I saw 24 for this team kept falling into the trap. He kept running into the backfield without setting a proper edge.

The triple option is easy to stop with good linebacker play, when your linebackers are taught to bull rush to in at the original ball carrier it creates lanes everywhere when you teach your backers to have the lead backer (player on whatever side they are running to) rush and disrupt the play while the other stay home and make reads this offense and all others can be stopped effectively.

@@nnnhjjj749 either way modern safety’s can play down at the olb spot with little change in effectiveness now in the case of a HS team yeah I guess but the best way to stop this offense is to have the strong side lb attack the play have the corners contain the outside and have the remaining lb’s press the ball carrier. What you’re describing leads to obvious holes in the secondary having your 3rd level press up like that leads to a one move score like we saw in the video. When the backers stayed home and read the play outcomes are usually acceptable.
