This movie had the saddest ending that I’ve seen in a long time. I thought maybe that he would just start to assault her but would get caught before he actually killed her. Servers the boyfriend right though for yielding to pressure and denying the truth for the sake of his reputation as a bank employee. 😮😮😮

Good portrayal of a serial killer though that term was not yet invented when this show was made. And Ted Bundy was just starting his career here in the Pacific Northwest. Even before profiling, there was a general idea of how this sort of killer operated.
I thought the term serial killer started with Ed Kemper.
@@jeffcampbell2710 Neither one of us is exactly correct. I decided to look up the origin of the term.There is a Wikipedia entry about "serial killer" which is an interesting read. Here in the Northwest we have an idea that the term originally applied to Bundy after his crimes were known. "Serial homicide" goes way back and serial killer was a natural development.
I need to start watching the endings first. Come on, 2 beautiful women killed in 1 episode? They did NOT have to kill of the second one. So depressing episode.
It's because everyone including the young guy wouldn't listen to Hoss. Those that won't listen have to feel. The suspect in this western has a demented mind where he forces kissing them on their lips then strangles the woman. These kind of people need to burned severely with a branding iron and then strangled.

Episode 9:13: so Hoss had a gunfight with a blue dress in a box? The real killer came after lady down...implying Hoss was the strangler?

Incredibly violent episode with sexual violence thrown in. Definitely not a favorite. Someone said in a review the violence was just implied. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The Cartwrights have killed more women then "the fever" and small pox`s put together !!
About the same amount as Men😆 Little Joe has killed 45 men in the series at this point.
