I’m not guna lie he doesn’t understand that he doesn’t have a lot of “clout” or notoriety and a network willing to fund a show for him is a risk... he should have negotiated on their terms for one year, proven his value and then asked for more ownership. He doesn’t get a whole lot of air time on Actions shows but vice and actions fans know who he is. Outside of that not so much...he should have started off short term with them rather than feel like they wanted to own the show that’s not what they wanted they wanted to protect their investment and make sure possible loss could be recouped on the back end.

I think what you're not getting is that Vice wasn't willing to do that. Go look at all the Buzzfeed drama around their shows and you'll understand those type of shows are 're-negotiable". once the network has those rights to the show they aren't letting it go unless you do a payout. You guys don't understand equity, ownership, and that it doesn't matter how much you prove yourself that some people aren't trying to split full profits with you. Giving him a show isn't a huge investment for Vice. They have economies of scale at this point.
