no txt album is similar to the previous one, their songs are all different, they love to try different things and genres, thanks for reacting to this and I hope you hear more of their songs.
Ever since TXT peaked with 0X1=Lovesong & Loser=Lover in 2021 (that was their new peak back then, now we have a new peak with Temptation), the Kpop industry finally took notice that people like rock elements and decide to put those elements into their comebacks/songs. Now we see more groups putting rock elements into their songs even to this day. Which is great because I like rock (Dreamcatcher still being one of my fav Kpop rock-genre group). As experimental and diverse they are, 0X1=Lovesong & Loser=Lover are still two of my favorite title tracks from TXT tbh.
TXT always switch up their sound since debut, well it won’t be true to say fans don’t leave but each era new fans come and actually the core fandom constantly grows cause they are such amazing artists in every sense. No matter what genre, they slayyyy!!!! TXT might not have a sound but they are one of the most diverse groups, all songs have a very distinct feel, like you can tell this is TXT! Something about their artistry hits different and hits each time
Bighit has had a plan for txt before it ever became Hybe and the members trained with Bighit for years before debuting. Yeonjun joined in 2014, just a year after BTS debuted and I’m sure you know the stakes and conditions of the company at that point in time. After BTS’s success, Bighit knew debuting a boy group after them would be no small feat and they prepared well. The members have all said their trainee years were intense. Their main producers, Bighit producers, have SO much experience and talent. Slow Rabbit is TXT’s main producer and then there’s also contributions from other Bighit producers; “Hitman” Bang himself, Supreme Boi, Pdogg and, y’all are right, they absolutely bring in talented producers and writers from all over. That’s why it’s so impressive to me when one of the members produces or co-produces a track bc they’re basically competing with established producers at the label. Same with their writing. The music has also changed as they’ve grown. Their input and own personal styles have influenced the music and storytelling. Kai and Beomgyu both play guitar and Kai also plays the piano and drums. Beomgyu originally wanted to be in a band and Kai wanted to be a songwriter. They have both produced official tracks, check out Maze in the Mirror, Dear Sputnik, and Thursday’s Child Has Far To Go. I think Bighit has allowed TXT to grow & develop at their own pace and to explore different things and discover themselves. Bang PD has said that one of their goals is to never put something out there that would embarrass them or anything that they wouldn’t be proud of and I think they’ve more than accomplished that.
I honestly never understand people's confusion about an artist changing the style of their music, like wouldn't you WANT that as a fan? TXT always makes bangers, so they'll never get a complaint from me about switching it up.
txts music and concept is progression through growing up. so in the begging with songs like cat and dog they were brighter and more poppy because they were young and expressed that carefree nature, then they hit their "emo phase" as they are faced with the reality of the world in adolescence, and now we could say they're maturing even further with sugar rush ride. generally speaking tho alternative genres are the niche they fall back on the most- many of their bsides have different alt influence and they often perform with live bands, plus their lyrics have always been beyond surface level so we fans expect sound like this from them and also saw it coming before songs like lovesong or loser lover came out! txt is actually also recognized for starting the pop punk trend in kpop that happened in 2022
After Loser=Lover era, their next comeback was Good Boy Gone Bad. Can you imagine that switch up? But for me, the biggest switch up was going from Can't You See Me era to Blue Hour era. Or Blue Hour era to 0X1=Lovesong era. This is the release order of their title tracks: 1) Crown (debut) 2) Run Away 3) Can't You See Me 4) Blue Hour 5) 0X1=Lovesong 6)Loser=Lover 7) Good Boy Gone Bad 8) Sugar Rush Ride (most recent)
TXT is the genre itself. They said in the interview that they want to show more side of them and will continue to be more unique and versatile from other kpop songs and contentssss
they love changing to so many genres. honestly, this is the reason why i love them. i get little bit of everything and i know they are gonna make it sound good. there's this trust for them to make bangers because they always deliver. this is why the fandom is so loyal. it is still because of music in my case. we've had people leave them for changing genres from blue hour and when gbgb came, people wanted the 0x1 style back. it's kind of a mess but txt have always had this different sounds since debut. it's just that those songs sounded more youthful back then but if you look closely, there's always been the dark undertone in the lyrics and the genre change in every track of the album. it's always been their thing and they have pride in that aspect too. i mean thursday's child has far to go is no where near the same sound as drama. i've been wondering cause i've seen you've reauploaded some of the videos so i am quite confused on which songs of them you have and have not heard. would love you to check everything because they have really diverse songs since debut.
I love this about Them , TXT's albums are growing with the audience showing continuum of time , going trough natural happenings , the phases of life , sweet first love , being part of a groups forming friendships , going trough hardships of teenage life, breakup, the teenage life as the passage between wanting to stay in this neverland but as we grow up it's unavoidable to go into the adulthood , we will see where they would go with their next album. (Maybe how to keep your inner child as reference to the neverland inside so that child inside Us wouldn't ever die . )
6:28 right but also i think many kpop fans tend to like/listen to more genre and TXT just do it well especially cuz it’s not that random cuz they connect it through lyrics and storyline Take their young fans threw journey of growth which is why I’m so attached to them I appreciate txt & their producers & team very much
Actually that’s what I love about txt, I listen to many genres myself and stanning a group that not only does every genre but also does it amazing is perfect for me 😅
I adore "bit of everything" groups and it's one of my favourite things about kpop. When I was younger and someone asked what type of music I like, I used to say I listen to everything. But pretentious people will treat that as a cop out, or think you listen to the top 40 and are too embarrassed to say so as if that's a crime. I always hated that judgement when I was a teenager because music is music, and none of it is bad, it's just music. When I got into kpop in my 20s I dove in head first because it was every genre I could think of. Now my playlists are a disgrace in terms of genre, but it's all kpop. Years ago I might've had Blink182, then One Direction, then Babymetal, then Britney Spears in the one playlist, and would be embarrassed if anyone discovered one of my car CDs. But now I can make a playlist with even just one kpop group like TXT and give myself musical whiplash easily. Thankfully I also stopped caring about peoples opinions and will happily share my Spotify recaps every year showing almost exclusively kpop. 😂
as someone who joined the fandom during 0X1=LOVESONG & LOSER=LOVER, it's always SO MUCH FUN to eagerly wait and see what new style TXT is going to explore next. There's only a couple songs of theirs that I'm meh-ish on, and even then I rarely skip them when they come on shuffle. I personally really love groups like TXT and Stray Kids where you can put their discography on shuffle and it'll feel like you've turned on a radio channel or a random spotify playlist, 'cause you'll go from Super Bright Pop (CROWN) to Tropical House (Can't We Just Leave the Monster Alive?) to Emo Garageband (0X1=LOVESONG) to acoustic ballad (Maze in the Mirror, Nap of a Star) to New Jack Swing + UK Garage (Rollercoaster) to Trap Hyperpop (FROST).
txt always comeback with different style But u can always say this is definitely TXT style like they r have some unique thing on their musics and always slay🔥
I like that about TXT, the versatility they have and that each album is different from the previous one, thanks for the reaction I loved it, stay healthy and happy 💙
yeonjun wasn't hiding from the cops in the video because he stole the car. he was hiding because he took a bag full of cash from the bank at the beginning of the video. :)
There is actually an explanation for bighit constant change of genre....kpop is worldwide now but its hard to make music that fit everyone tastes, this episode was a huge hit in the west, most of international stan did like it but it wasn't as succeful in Korea their homeland.....bighit producers keeps trying things to find a balance between intl and locals. Kpop thrive on fandoms support, this episode did increase txt fandom internationally but didn't in korea, sugar rush ride was a hit in korean market but by that time the international fanbase was already established so it did make the cb succeful everywhere. Building a fandom is the most hardest thing for a kpop act, but now most of companies want what bts achieved in the west which means they push for western market and what intl stan like and r failing korean market because they don't release songs that fit korea taste, they just wait for one cb to hit in homeland and bring them more fans but won't change their concepts because of fear to lose usa market.

THANKS FOR THE REACTION!
It's true that moa always trust txt with music but since debut our fandom has always changed too like after crown we barely had some fans cause txt took long break just after debut so only few fans were left after that run away happened, this song got noticed by Korean people and they supported txt and after that can't you see me happened then lots of people left cause they wanted txt to do crown type of cute song again , there were barely any fans were left again with blue hour txt gained lots of fans ( mostly Korean fan and girl group Stan ) cause blue hour was bright and funky , it was one of the biggest comeback of txt since their debut and again after some time txt dropped 0×1= love song this song brought many fans at the same time girl group Stan who only stanned txt cause they liked cute concept and croptop that txt wore in blue hour left the fandom
In 0×1= love song era txt managed to get real fans who actually trusted txt ( that txt can slay any genre ) and gbgb happened it was more successful then blue hour in terms of fandom push cause blue hour era was all about token Stan who only liked txt cause they wore croptops and did cute concept in between 0×1= love song to gbgb era many real fans joined the fandom even without comeback for 9-10 months txt were gaining followers left and right and all we needed was one comeback to show txt growth and again txt changed their sound and the name chapter: temptation broke all the records of 4th gen made txt 3rd kpop act in many categories just after BTS and blackpink and became the MOST Successful comeback of txt ever
Changing their sound in every comeback was really risky but they slayed every genre and gained their fan trust so yeah we moa are here for txt cause we trust them with their music
And I can't wait for next comeback already
TXT MARATHON??!!!
TxT are just versatile artists. They can pull off any genre. And what I love is that they also have videos of the behind the scenes of their vocal production too. You might want to check out the latest, its very fascinating ☺️
