I don't even know why I thought this will be a good song for our beautiful Spider-man. ATTENTION: This is not a Starker tribute, just in case you got the wrong idea, Peter cares about his mentor Tony Stark and sees him as a father figure.

I love how the filter you used leaves everything nearly I grayscale except for Peter's suit, which is his metaphorical shotgun. The first ten seconds are a brilliant combination of Peter's spiel in Civil War and the Ferry scene, and sum up the bedrock of his character motivation wonderfully. The next forty seconds could be analyzed at a somewhat decent length on their own, and are very apt syncopations of clips with lyrics - "Are you a sin or a sinner?" being paired with the car scene from homecoming is great, along with the beginning of the "You better know what you're fighting for" motif highlighting that Peter, even aside from his guilt-driven philosophy, fights as much for his family and friends as he does for anything else. I also love how you put the "If love is what you need, a soldier I will be" line on top of a clip where Peter is Peter Parkering to the max, awkwardly shifting while on the donut in Infinity War: it brings forward his awkwardness wonderfully. The first chorus has the homecoming scene from homecoming, and it it is sharply accurate; Peter knows in that scene that he has to fight the vulture, even if he fails and it bites him later on and "heaven" - Tony and being an avenger in Peter's case - because its the right thing to do. Seriously, the first minute of this phenomenal.
The next minute or so (1:18-2:12) serves as a further reiteration and confirmation of what has been established, with the added subtlety of adding Peter helping the old lady deepening what Peter fights for, in showing him fighting for the people; the little guy. That's a bit ahead, however, and how well the "sometimes to win you have to sin" line plays over Peter leaving Liz at the Homecoming dance is chilling. The "Don't mean I'm not a believer" that follows it fits superbly, as the scene on the beach is one of Peter's most heroic ones. I find the next clip, where Peter is trying to beat Ant-Man, has a distinctly David and Goliath-esque note (pun intended) to it, while simultaneously being symbolism for Peter's high hopes. My favorite part of this section is how fitting it feels for the "Even if heaven won't take me back" section having been put of Peter's fight with Cap in Civil War; it not only has a great syncopation of Peter's actions with the beat of the song yet also suits who he's fighting with to the letter.
The final minute and a half pulls no punches, which I adore; the Peter-Tony argument from Infinity War is starkly (no pun intended) put with Peter trying to hold the Ferry together, giving the audience a crystal clear piece of Peter's outlook - followed immediately by underlining the importance of responsibility to Peter - is incredible. The collapsed building scene, too, is great; the compilation of the Germany video from the beginning of Homecoming hits hard, especially because it expresses the entire thesis of Homecoming and the collapsed building scene in a few seconds. Peter deserves his suit, his shotgun, due to who he is and the life he's lead, not his powers. Spider-Man is made from Peter Parker, not the other way around. The crescendo of the song is marvelous (that one was totally intended), as is Peter getting dusted to "a soldier I will be".
I really hope this receives more attention. It deserves it. Thank you for making it!
I -REALLY- have to agree with this breakdown. I know it's a year later and all, but, this is an -AMAZINGLY- done piece, and deserves the praise received here.

When it plays it’s chorus it’s just scenes of Spider-Man triumphing succeeding and even more so being Spider-Man and then the rest is sacrifice that is who peter Parker is what you know peter Parker will do because it is his character. The sad moments are drawn and even though this song wasn’t made for this montage you feel it as you go along with the video you see struggle you see failure but in the end you see peter Parker rising again

I had watch an video were the RUclipsr had said Peter could of put that Chitauri weapon in the water, but then it would've cut the bottom of the Ferry in half which would cause the ship to sink.

Thank you so much! I'm using Sony Vegas Pro 13 (but there's a new version I think) and the filter it's all but video effects (like color curves, correct color, channel blends, etc) You can play with them and see how it goes until you can get the result you want.
