Pile 3 here and that hit me hard. My 21 year old son has been kicked out of school twice in 2 weeks because he has talked harming hisself and depression. I looked at it as him being mad because he had to do things he didn't want to do. Or trying to get attention. Now that he has seen a doctor they think he does have depression. He is starting a medication today and is going to start some counseling next week. I feel awful now because I didn't handle this in the right way. I got angry because I thought he was just seeking attention even if it was negative attention. I understand we all go b through things in life that brings us down and are hard to handle that can make us feel that way sometimes. I don't understand people that have depression all the time. Im really in a fix. My daughter wants to play sports and we are all academic family. She is so passionate about her game that me n my hhsband support her. But now she is in grade 8, and soon she will need to focus more on studies. But she wants to continue to play seriously. Both set of grandparents are scared for her career coz as per them sports is not a serious thing for whole life, but education is.
