@@dclofts7450 I always use dummy eggs at the end of the season. That way I synchronise all the breeding couples and separate all the hens from the cocks at the same time. This makes it easier especially when you have some odd couples still feeding their babies which are too young to be weaned. So eventually when the last couple has finished rearing their babies whilst the others are sitting on dummy eggs, I can continue with separating the sexes.
