Thats the question you must ask first to improve, watch full games and realise that he is not taking int plays that his teammates force. Not wasting useless time doing random stuff on map. Better base timings, better wave control, better laning and knowing to sidelane and afk cs when needed. Even in this game he talks about he afk csed whole game to finally fist.
The thing every challenger player does is prioritize farm. They see a potential play/gank? clear the wave first and while ur clearing think about whether or not you can impact it, if you don't think you'll get a kill before the next wave comes don't bother. team is asking for help on an objective? clear the wave then go help. Can you trade with your opponent? focus on clearing the wave first, use abilities here and there to poke but make sure you take care of low hp minions before going for a trade. An advanced tip to consider is how much cs you are losing compared to ur opponent. If you're both going to roam to help in the play it's important to consider how much both of u stand to lose if you can't get back to the wave. for example it sucks if u lose 1 wave but if ur opponent misses 1 wave too it's fine, this is why slow pushes into roams are so OP, once the wave crashes into enemy turret u can make it so ur enemy can't match ur roam while also only losing at most 3 cs if the play takes a while. However u should remember the priority is always clearing the wave, the only times you should ever break this rule are: Is the play an important one? can you get an objective out of it or will you yourself get something out of it like a kill or two? (there's more to consider but that's the minimum) Is the play happening right next to you? (you won't miss more than 4 minions max if you help in the play) If you can't say yes to either of these questions then it's not worth risking cs for it. Once you're better at farming you'll naturally learn the timers of when to go for roams and plays vs when to stay in lane to farm. The great thing abt akshan is once you get statik farming is basically a no brainer, you can roam a bunch after clearing the wave in 5 seconds and bc u clear it so fast ur not in danger of taking a bad trade from ur lane opponent.
I play akshan as my main since his release, this season tho i dont play him for ranked. In my opinion he is in such a bad state that i cant solo carry anything with him. Yeah you win lane, but 1-2 feeded enemies is enough to only let you play macro and no fights at all. Take this as my opinion, its still possible to win but the counter picks are way too strong atm and akshan doesnt really have a "good" build that suits him anymore
in previous split akshan was able to do 1vs9 in almost every game when adc was broken role and the only reason he was playable is only because adc items were so overpowered and i was suprised with it because i thought the nerfs that they named “adjusted” for some reason will kill akshan forever but akshan was in good spot in last split. now i feel like akshan isnt bad at all but it much harder to do 1vs9
but tbh akshan’s kit sucks. like u need to kill someone fast to get reset but if u cant kill someone with E, Q, AA u are literally cannon minion as a champion. thats the biggest difference between akshan now and akshan in previous split. now if u are even with enemy’s there is a big chance that u are not able to one tap someone but in previous split u could.
@@Xardassi005 Well i disagree to a certain degree. Akshan is in lane a Duelist and in Teamfights an Assassin. Akshans Kit is totally fine, you got a shield, 2 Phase dmg, passive dmg, fast aa, Kite Potential, a versitaile Cait ult. The big Problems are the items. Krakenslayer was the best Item you can ask for, now its so stupidly nerfed. Problem is the survivebility Update. If i give every damn Champion lets say 100 more Life, i need to do as Akshan 500 more dmg in one Team Fight. I get 100 Life, enemies 500. So effectivly i Play against 400 more Life in 1v9 which is unplayable when i Nerf every Item thats good on a certain Champ. Nowadays you can Go crit Akshan, but its Not as powerful as Akshan used to be.
