○ Front of Hairline to nape of neck= 12.5" (average is 14.25")
○ Ear to ear over top of head= 12.25" (average is 13.5)

Which wig is that?
Hi! It was a test wig by TressAllure... they were testing their new fibers out on Trend, and they sent it to me to try since they know that the original Trend is one of my favorites... the problem was that this one had no permatease and the original Trend does... so when I gave them that feedback they went to the drawing board on it and so I don't think this one is going to be available, unless they decide to make it under a different name.
I get a lot of compliments on my hair these days. I smile sweetly and say "Thank you. It's a wig". One of my neighbours complimented me last week. When I told her it was a wig, she didn't believe me. I was wearing Natural Image Resonate in Platinum Mist, monopart, lace front. She's now thinking about getting a wig as her hair is starting to go thin - we're around the same age - late 60s.
I love it!! When we share it helps others so much!
I’ve been wearing wigs for almost a year and a half now. I’ll be 69 yo next month! At first I was so afraid to wear my wigs out of the house so for the first month I wore them at home all day. I played around with them styling them different ways until I got more comfortable. Now I realize that absolutely no one is even looking and most often I just get compliments. I even change my color and styles on a daily basis and even when I see the same people they don’t notice the change. The only time someone noticed was when I wore my wig in the color melted plum!!!
AND REMEMBER…no one is really paying that much attention to us! AND, if they are noticing us, it’s because they think our hair looks cute!! Wear that hair with confidence😁❤

I timidly wore a wig out to Costco today, this lady across a stack of produce yells at me great haircut! Really nice layering! Then I get home and a neighbor offers to help carry stuff in! (Apartment) I’m blown away!

I’ve been wearing wigs for almost 6 months. Two inexpensive items that transformed my wig wearing are:
*Head bands (nothing fancy or pricey)
* root touch up sticks for my sideburns.
I can tuck wig behind my ears and no one is the wiser. If my sideburns show under my wig because of my glasses, it all matches and looks natural.
I get so many compliments on my ‘hair’ and people are shocked when I tell them it’s a wig.
Another thing that helps a wig look natural (and it’s FREE) is confidence.
Once I started to think of putting on a wig before leaving the house as appropriate as putting on a shirt, I stopped focusing on it and went about my day. 😊💕

Best advice ever from Taz. She says, “ You are never gonna fool anyone! So don’t worry about it. You wear the wig to make yourself feel great!”
That was a mic drop for me. I took what others think off the agenda table for good. My only criteria now is do I like what I see at my dressing table in the morning? If it starts to droop during the day, well, I take a sec and refresh. Get a new image in my head and I’m off.

I NEEDED THIS TODAY.
I won't leave the house without wearing my hair pieces, and I try my best to wear it with confidence.
But, I truly struggle with trying to accessorize. I've spent so much money on headbands, clips, combs, barrettes etc..
Headbands were too tight or wouldn't sit still. Clips, Barrettes & Combs ALWAYS fell out & wouldn't hold hair. I just got so frustrated.
However, I've never tried the cloth headband, maybe its worth trying.

Thank you Denise such a good encouraging video. When a stranger or someone gives you a compliment on your hair do you feel obligated to tell them it’s a wig? I typically just say thank you and keep it moving.😊

The way I see it, the person giving you a compliment wasn't focused on a wig. They were expressing how beautiful your hair looks.

Thanks for all the guidance. If you are getting a HH wig, if possible should it exactly match your circumference or do you need a bit extra?
It depends on your wig fit preference. If the circumference is the same as your head, then it might be very snug and not be comfortable with a wig grip. That said, some caps are really stretchy and others aren't, so the stretch factor will impact this.
