There's 2 Sams. This is Sam Tompkins who he's collaborated with. Then there's Samuel Perry Falvey whose filmed a large amount of Ren and the big push videos. Love your reactions!
This Sam (not the videographer), Ren met while walking home from busking. He came across Sam busking with no microphone and nobody really around. Ren stopped and offered to use his amp and microphone. And then sat and played with him and let him keep the money. And history was made. Sam has said Ren was like a big brother. This Sam, the singer, has opened up for Bieber. He is currently touring in the US for the first time. He's playing in Chicago tomorrow night. You should listen to Sam Tompkins Time Will Fly. There's actual footage of when Ren and Sam first time busking.
That footage of their first day is on Sam's channel. I'm sure someone has recommended him and Ren on "Earned it/ Man's World/ Fallin'" back on Rens channel, INSANE vocals.

Sam and Ren are so fun to watch perform together. They obviously have much admiration and love for each other.
On Sam's channel there is a video where he's showing old videos of himself performing and in it he tells the story of the first time he met Ren and shows a short video of the first time they busked together.
Ren has written about and told the story in other videos and says he recognized that Sam had something special that could make him really successful.
If I remember right, Ren is about six or seven years older than Sam. Sam was only 16 when they first met. Watching them for the first time you would never had believed they had only just met.

Sam mentions something they did that went viral, I think that was the version of the track your playing here with the title Ren & Sam Tompkins - Blind Eyed Ft. Angry Car Park Attendant". That lucky carpark attendant got his own collectable figure out of it. It's easy to get the 2 Sam's confused when first getting to know them.

Sam Tompkins is not the Sam who does the videos, this one is a singer, it's a different Sam who does Ren's videos. You might also like a busking video he did with Sam doing Earning It, A Man's World and falling.

Ren is not only an insanely talented artist but also a magnet for other talented artist. He also has a couple of other songs with Sam called What Went Wrong 1 and 2. Plus all their busking sessions.
