I am Myuu. A musician who loves writing dark piano songs. They are free to use as long as credit is given. I always try to make the music sound creepy and beautiful at the same time. In addition to my piano and horror soundtracks I also do orchestrated pieces and industrial/experimental work.

It is not a fear of the dark itself, but what lies within it, what lies just out of sight that grips us with fear. And maybe you'll turn on the light, and see nothing. And be even more unnerved. For nothing in light means it will find darkness elsewhere.
And maby your unlucky enough to where you end up in the dark with the thing

2020 and still freaks me out
Day had dwindled to an end, leaving behind only the chill of the autumnal evening. The sky had just begun to darken to the point where the brassy white glow of streetlamps lit the pavement. One of the sole figures still treading through the city at this hour was a young girl by the name of Agnes, walking her small terrier dog for his nightly walk. It was definitely cold in spite of the scarf wrapped around her neck (the breath condensing white in the air was evidence of that), and it was somewhat foreboding to be ambling through the dark streets at this hour, but she knew her way around these parts and would soon be home.
She crossed past a streetlamp towards an alleyway, walls patched up with neatly aligned bricks. Just a few more blocks and Agnes would be in the safety of her house once more. A small smile tugged at the corners of her lips as she continued down the lonely stretch of concrete ahead of her. No more of this creeping feeling of unease that had been growing as the sky grew darker overhead. Soon she would be somewhere with light and would be able to forget all about this nonsense-
Something brushed against her shoulder. A hand, with tendrils for fingers, snatching loosely at the sweater on her shoulder. Cold, almost slimy, and choking. Only something malignant could own such an appendage. Quickly, Agnes jerked her head behind her to see what was wrong, her breathing starting to grow unsteady. In front of her, her dog growled. At least if someone tried to go after her she would have her beloved Dawson to look out for.
Another hand brushed against her shoulder, trailing its slimy grasp against her cheek this time. Colder than cold, darker than dark. She walked briskly, starting to convulse in revulsion and fear from these predators on her heels.
There was a hand, and then a head, creeping up against the wall. Slowly, the matter bloomed across the wall extending its nail-like talons towards Agnes. With a swallow to the lump in her throat and a throaty bark from Dawson, she realized it.
There *they* were, living in the dark.
My dog was sleeping peacefully beside me... I had my ear buds in, but the moment I started playing this song, she popped her head up in alert and looked straight at the window... 😓

If there is light, there is darkness. And in every darkness dwells a creature. Small or big, it doesn't matter. It will still get the job done. Underneath your bed, in your closet, behind the clock, and even in the smallest, tiny cracks that you can't see. You always suspect them to be there, somewhere you know and can see. But there's one tiny small little detail that you forgot. A creature of the dark stays and lives in the dark. That includes your shadow.

Every time at night when i have to go down a turn on the light i always hear this song and when i do i start breathing hard and look around and also think of places where creatures can peak out of like around the corner and how something is going to pop out. @@nayla7981 No, this was published in 2013. It might be older than that, but the composer was born in 1989. I don't think Cartoon Network employed a 12 year old to make music for their show. It only sounds similar to music from Courage.
