Our new company car, kindly provided by VINN Auto for the next few years. I decided to go with the Range Rover Velar R-Dynamic S (Blacked Out) because I have always loved the comfort and design of the brand. After 6 months, very happy with the decision from a drive, design, and tech standpoint.

I had this several years ago. It looked stunning but I don't recommend keeping it for long because no one enjoys visiting dealerships/independent garages often.
Congrats love, the inside of the velars are, 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽. I also have a rover, (white w/black top) et am thinking about possibly moving in a different direction for my next vehicle; however I always check out the rovers jic because the design is sleek et user friendly. Enjoy!🥂👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽💕
My mom has the 2018 P380 velar and she loves it. Its ACTUALLY reliable despite landrover’s struggle with making reliable cars in the past. Probably not more reliable than a Lexus but far more than the 2000’s era
That's good to hear :-) I also have a family member with a Range Rover (not sure which one) but they also had no reliability issues. To be fair though, the people who say they're unreliable are usually the kind who throw insults, lie and exploit the audience to get money... so they're not really to be trusted. Despite past surveys showing the brand to not be the most reliable, they appear to be making significant progress :-D
Bought the first evoque and had it for 5 years, and it was reliable…upgraded to the new evoque and i’ve owned it for 2 years already and its been great as well
The car looks absolutely amazing, I had the chance to drive one for about a month as a rental because my car was in the shop. It was a 2021 Velar with R-Dynamics and about 11k kms on the ODO. The car looks great on the outside, no question about it but that's about it. There were so many issues with the car that other users on the forums also had. Its not a practical car at all when you compare it to other SUV of its price. The gas milage was absolutely terrible even for an Inline 6 and the raising and lowering of the air suspension made the worst sound I've ever heard come from a car. The velar is best utilized when parked. Just my opinion.

It's not a V6, it's inline 6. I know it might sound strange to none car guys, but not every 6 cylinder engine has a V configuration.

Excellent video - interesting to hear Justin liked the touch screen controls so much though. Many people have found them not that intuitive / easy to use - especially the bottom screen with the climate controls on it.

My friend has the supercharged v8 velar, really really awesome cool car. Engine had to be replaced once in the first three years, but it went under warranty so that was kinda fine. The infotainment is the only thing he is sometimes complaining about, but generally the car is pretty cool

The center infotainment screen looks like it’s way too angled down! I feel like it should be facing the driver more but it’s like laying down flat almost lol. Also how’s the quality on the screen itself? Can’t tell much from the video but the UI seems a bit clunky

I bought one of these September last year brand-new, by Christmas I gave it back range rover are nothing but problems. The electrics are shocking the suspension constantly have issues. It's funny because everyone here in the UK stay away from range rover
Death to the people who build range rovers. I’ve never had more problems with a car. Have thought about burning it as I don’t want to pass the problems onto a future owner

Hello Justin. I have a few questions about range rover velar 2022, I have made a deposit and prepared to pick up my dream car, but I only chose the option of 13 speakers instead of having to spend another 1000 to have 17 speakers, whether the sound quality does the bar differ too much??

so i think you have 4 different options in the UK. normal velars come with standard sound system. S models come with meridian sound system. SE an HSE come with meridian surround and the paid option is meridian signature with the most speakers and power. You will be fine with the standard Meridian system for day to day casual listening but anyone who is more of an audiophile will want the surround system and signature is mainly for audiophiles who want the absolute best quality
I got the first Velar when it released. First one delivered in Nebraska. My channel shows my horrendous time with this damn vehicle lol. Hope your ownership is better!!

The only thing I hate about the Velar is it’s ground clearance , 194 mm is pretty low for an SUV it will get bottomed out so quick , some high sitting sedans have that , otherwise lovely car

When these things came out, I thought they were stupid. Just by pictures it looked like an evoque sized car but the evoque was already being updated so what's the point? But the longer its been out the more its grown on me and I can see the market its branched in to.

Does it have ambient lighting?
The velar does not give the Range Rover driving experience that makes people come back to them again and again. The windscreen and seat are not in the commanding wide view RR classic setup. The Velar is a crossover RR for people who find the Evoque too small or downclass.
Bro I got the same one with the red calipers. The interior second to none the inside feels like a space rocket. I tested the model x it's cool but it's out of style.
Actually happy that they've switch to a hand held transmission over those knobs

Land Rover makes great looking vehicles with great design but the reliability and maintenance issues will always be the reason I don't get one.

I really dislike the direction manufacturers going with these touch screen these days. A physical button is so much more practical for the driver to keep their eyes on the road while going through the tech

I got a black one last year. They aren’t that reliable. I’ve had new tech screen twice already.
it's one thing to say that you need an SUV as a means of transportation - and another to say that you think SUVs are great in general, and here you also have the convenience of a larger trunk than in a coupé - but if it were really just about the size of the trunk, a classic station wagon would do here - for example, an Audi A6 Avant or the T-model from Mercedes - much more sustainable and less " pretentious". SUVs are just bloated sedans, which I also like very much, but you definitely don't have more space than in a regular station wagon and the consumption is significantly higher - unsuitable as a company car, in my opinion - you're probably more interested in tax advantages ;)
