Super stoked to be releasing this cover! Some of you have been rooting for it like crazy, so I'm glad I'm able to deliver ✔️ haha. This was interesting, I was debating with myself if I should play the sampled part or not - the drum part is actually really simple but there's this cool percussiony part on top that feels like is SHOHLD be played by the drummer so I decided to go for it. It's the pattern played on the 8' tom! I was keeping time with the left foot and splashing it where u would normally hear the hi hat open! I think it kinda works - but u tell me :)
Really liked the way this video came out - the color, the lighting and Kevin my mixing engineer has some plugin's that made this sound unusually epic!
Already started working on the POT having a bit of a hard time with it but nothing plenty of time and patience won't solve 😉

I think she's got someone in the studio making her laugh. I'm not a fan. I'd rather see her genuine emotions( which might include SOME grins) just covering these songs.. I think this is distracting.

In light of recent events here in Vegas this song brings me some Light in the Darkness. My wife was at the Route 91 concert and escaped all the gunfire running for her life. I am saddened by those who did not come home.

I don't dislike ths version. She is pretty good and I gave a thumbs up. =)
But for those who commented like she is the greatest female drummer of all time, they may want to expand their horizons. Their are numerous female drummers out there that are light years ahead in apptitude and skill level (s white is my personal favorite).
But no disrespect on this video. Very watchable and look forward to seeing more. ☺

Man Mike Wengren is so underrated! Love his style. He can do so much but only brings what disturbed needs. With that alone he is still in my top 5 favorite drummers of all time! Love the channel!

Rediscovered this band after watching all of the emerging footage of David Draiman just opening wide up for the whole world in their concerts. Saw the one about a psychologist who was treating a Marine who was on the verge and said he listened to this song over and over again and it saved his life. I haven't listened to much from them probably since 10,000 fists, but I instantly loved this song. and that groove is really cool. I think I'll learn to play this over the next few days. Great song!

Love the grooves in these videos. Solid and on point. Sounds great! Most, if not all drummers... myself included... look hideous when hitting such grooves. Except Meytal. It's almost unfair. That smile when killing these grooves is infectious!
