My Dad bought a 73 Cutlass Supreme two door coupe brand new. Royal metallic blue with a white vinyl top. Rocket 350 engine. He passed away in 81 and when I turned 16 in 82, I inherited it. Not the fastest car around but it was a great date car. Loved the style of it
Had a 1973 brown 2 door badly rusted in 1985 last of the good looking bumpers Olds 350 rocket had over 260,000 miles and still ran good when l sold it it was dependable and reliable with oil changes and basic maintenance someone changed it to a cap and rotor distributor so no points it ran pretty good when l got it it had over 120,000 miles payed 400 dollars for it put a 140,000 more miles on it
That is the.perfect kind of car to get into the hobby relatively cheap. Good style 350 olds motors are great. The 4 door model is not as desirable, but not terrible either. Not everyone can afford a 70 lt1z28 or hemicuda
We were cracking up the entire time we were doing this one. He threw that “hotter than them hubcaps” line on me by surprise. We had to do 3 takes on that part, and every time he’d add more to it!
I had a 75 Salon 4 DR Blue with Blue Buckets and console - my first car. Never have I seen another 75 with Buckets. I believe the comment below stating 150 built as 4 Dr Salon's in 73, that is rare. They got used up in the day - almost NONE left. Thinking no more than 500 built as 4 door Salon with buckets in 75 for sure.

@@shedman7323 For sure! The arial in the windshield was another innovative feature as well. A really cool looking car!
Great body style love the front grill and the taillights
In my opinion, GM had the most attractive styling out of the big three in ‘73. Thanks for watching!
You got to get some of that 4/60 air conditioning: Four door windows down and drive 60 miles an hour!

Super clean 50 y/o vehicle. Love the subtleness of the patina.

Love the Farmer Jack logo. I cannot believe it's been 16 years since they closed.
Thanks, you’re the first to comment on the logo! Not many recognize it these days.
Great video! That jewel is about ready for a road trip to California. Nice to see you got some new tires.
I’m be adding some color matched Rallye wheels soon!
“Hotter than these hubcaps” got me. 😂
Me too, had to do that several times to get it without cracking up.
