Very good. We don't hear this enough in most churches. Bringing this on home and really zeroing in on it is so important. It completely does away with bragadocious effort and works to save us.

As a seed dies to give life to a beautiful flower, not only did Christ’s death lead to His resurrection on the third day, but it led to our resurrection as well. Paul reminds us: Just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. Romans 6:4. Thank You, Lord, that we are raised to new life with You! He has defeated sin and conquered death! He turned His grave into a beautiful garden of new life for us.
As Jesus encouraged His disciples:
“No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light.” Luke 11:33

Everyone who falls asleep in their sin of pagan worship blood is on their pastor's hands for not staying with scripture, and teaching a different truth.
The resurrection matters but Easter/Resurrection Sunday is a pagan holiday. God doesn't want to be served in this way. Christmas was not the birth of Christ Jesus and is also a pagan holiday. God does not allow pagan worship. The origin of everything matters. The church needs discernment and truth and the celebration of these pagan holidays is not truth.
Easter is associated with Christianity and to a pagan Spring festival that dates back long before Christ. The feast day of Easter was first a pagan holiday of renewal and rebirth. Honored in the early spring, it praised the pagan goddess of fertility and spring known as 'Ostara', 'Eastre' or 'Eostre'.
While Christmas was a celebration of the winter solstice, Easter was a celebration of the spring equinox for the pagans. Pagans lived their lives in strong accordance with nature's rhythms and patterns, and solstices and equinoxes were considered to be sacred times.

God gave us the Passover not Easter or Resurrection...It's not biblical. The translation in the King James Version is a false translation from the original text and no other translation has that word Easter.
The Roman Catholic set to change dates and times and Emperor Constantine introduced these holidays that Christians celebrate today which does not please God. Constantine did this by force.
Christmas was unknown to the early church. In fact the festival of Christ's birth wasn't invented until 312AD, and not by a peaceful disciple, but by a military leader, the Roman Emperor Constantine.
