I may be the only one that thinks this, but I think there should be two points up for grabs per round: one point for having the puck whose position is closest spacially and one point for having the puck whose position is closest chronologically. That is, if the answer is 1980, Rhett lands in 1890 and Link lands in 1990: 1990 is on the other side of the board and 1890 is directly beside 1980, Link would get the chronological point and Rhett would get the spacial point. If you land on the correct answer, that's two points.
But then how would Link ever win? You have to consider his feelings. He's like a younger brother, you gotta let him win every now and then or else you'll have to listen to him crying all day >:P

It’s not about who won the previous round, it’s about who’s currently winning, and Rhett was still winning so he goes first. Calm down there buddy. It’s not that serious.
