- Go to WWW.REDADAIR.COM for more information. On October 2, 2010, the land, buildings and memorabilia of the legendary Red Adair will be up for auction in Bellville, TX. Here is a small preview I shot and edited together of some of the items that will be available. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Shriners Hospital for Children, I do not own or intend to suggest that I own the music in the background. One of the rights accorded to the owner of copyright is the right to reproduce or to authorize others to reproduce the work in copies or phonorecords. Red Adair is a true American hero
Would've been nice to sit and have a sip of whiskey with Mr Adair and Mr Wayne. John was and still is my hero. I salute Red for his efforts throughout his life to create a beautiful home and well managed and genuine business. They're both having a sip looking down on this crazy world.
Met Red Adair in 1969 on a fire job offshore by mouth of Mississippi River. Again in 1970 out of Fourchon on a Shell Oil fire job. Red was nice, Boots was an a-hole.
I worked in Proudoe Bay ( Dead Horse Alaska ) they had a facility there for this , a few years later and it had the Haliburton name on it . Haliburton had of course bought them out .
what a shame a museum couldnt have been made of all his land holdings and a working ranch operated to fund it.
