- Gary McKinnon made international headlines in 2002 after being accused of perpetrating the "biggest military computer hack of all time". He maintains he was looking for evidence of a UFO coverup - and joins us to discuss exactly what he found, and how his life has changed in the last 20 years.
Gary was accused by the US Government of hacking into 97 United States military and NASA computers over a 13-month period between February 2001 and March 2002 from his girlfriend's aunt in London using the name 'Solo'.
Gary has consistently maintained that his motivation was to find evidence of UFOs, antigravity technology, and the suppression of "free energy" - and that he was inspired by a Disclosure Project statement at the Washington Press Club back in May 2001.
Gary claims to have actually found evidence for at least some of these claims, including NASA photographic expert Donna Hare's claim that images were regularly cleaned of evidence of UFOs at the Johnson Space Center's Building 8. In his words, he heard about the claim from the Disclosure Project, and says he found evidence in exactly the location the expert said it would be located.

My question is how did he find the public IPs of these networks in the first place to be able to access the machines, by scanning for open ports on the internet?
@@CK-jv5mn Security back then was nothing like today, was simply just scanning the open internet and knowing where and how to look for certain items with indexing and keywords. Sounds easier in text now days, but we didn't have google/chatgpt etc to help, it was all trial and error. I used to have a machine completely disconnected from the internet and would treat it like what we do with VMs now days. Install a bunch of things on it and try break them.Telnet was a lot easier back then.

Fun fact... the nuclear launch codes in the 1970's were all set to 10 zeros. This was due to a power trip between MacNamara who demanded the Air Force use a secure launch sequence, and Gen LeMay who sought the most streamline launch sequence possible. Just ask any missileer from that time period, or look it up. But in LeMays defense it really did'nt matter what the 10 digits were, since there was an armed guard, blast doors, elevator and escape ladder all sealed. And the two inside had access to the code regardless, they had a key to the safe. So technically, all a code would have done is slow them down, something that only power hungry Washington bureaucrats fail to understand.

it was a read-only crime, oh and fareplay to the British justice system for not bowing down to Murica, just because it's America. I'd like to know if it was an American citizen who had done what Gary did, would it still be 70 year sentence they were looking at? Because if so, the fact your justice system could do that to it's own citizen is just not justice, that actually becomes the crime.
If he wasn't a hacker with some serious skills he definitely would've been extradited, I don't think it would surprise anyone if Gary was maybe offered work by the government, just a hunch of course
An inspiring story, thanks to you both for it. Today NASA might have yielded more info on free energy, regarding their TWO successful projects on LENR / cold fusion which have proved the validity of excess heat and fusion at fairly low temperatures. One was at NASA Langley several years ago, the other is still going on at Glenn in Cleveland. Not exactly "secret", but pretty much suppressed as are the US Navy's work and the 60-70 other successful labs results from all around the world proving Pons and Fleischmann were RIGHT.

On my many years and delving deep on the Internet of old, I found alot of interesting info I read that black projects have been progressing at the rate of 42 years to every one year of ours since the end of ww2 when the greatest minds including German scientist who were pardoned in order to work on black projects on which there was unimaginable budgets invested by the guys who print the stuff outa thin air. Going by what Gary found I reckon he s spot on. There's for sure a breakaway group of humans who have unbeknown to us massively advanced themselves. Let's face it if you have the power and resources why wouldn't you do this. This also accounts for a portion of ufo sightings. What irks me is that this tech could of saved our planet, but these cold phyco s have decided to use this tech to depopulate us, so sad 😢 clandestine geoengineering /weather warfare is pounding the nails into our collective coffin.

The fact that Gary mentions Greer is what makes me question the authenticity of this hack. IMO, it was staged. Ok, people know Solar Warden exists now and they didn’t panic. Check. Gary's name and the ships and officer names he discovered was just mentioned on the Shawn Ryans podcast when a former Raytheon contractor was talking about one of the purposes of the Antarctic neutrino detector.
Which was instantaneous communication with the fleet they have in space.
In the years and decades to come, school kids will be reading about Gary discovering a secret space fleet decades before Disclosure happened and the people of Earth finally heard the truth.
