This month I have just started my us traineeship; I have been watching many ultrasound tutorials on youtube for days and this is the best one with no doubt. Thank you.
Keep scanning. Also, we cherry pick our pretty pictures for teaching videos. I get my share of ugly pics just like everyone else. Mindful practice will get you there over time.
Hi...i have done upper abdomen ultrasound becuz i feel pain sometimes on my upper left abdomen but uktrasound didnot answer it..they said its all normal then why is it hurt sometimes feels like simeone is pinching me on my left upper abdomen...???
Has probably been described, but not really reliably or with high sensitivity with ultrasound. That kind of thing generally required direct visualization
Often times it is not visible due to bowel gas if you have recently eaten and it is harder on heavier people. I have not been able to find it many times before and it is a normal thing, probably no big deal at all. If they really wanted to visualize the pancreas well they probably would have done a CT anyways.
Thank you for the response, I went to a GI for gastrointestinal issues and pain and cramping in the center of my stomach for years that I have ignored, and wanted to do the ultra sound to rule things out and also gave me CREON to try out and the creon works for the loose weird stool I get after eating or randomly but we haven't talked about the pancreas because he said he didn't want to go down that route if we didn't have to. Seems like everything was fine from the results I got and can read for the most part but it said that the pancreas is not visualized. Hopefully I can get a CT scan next. Thank you
Great video! How did you get the recording of the actual scan from the screen? I am an ultrasound student and I have a video for a final to make. I think the videos like this always look great, but I can’t seem to figure out how. I’m assuming a usb or hdmi connected to a laptop with recording software? Thank you!

I had an ultrasound done and the report came back saying the pancreas is not visualized, is this good or bad? What happened?

@@christophermitchell2141 your welcome, I hope you get everything figured out!
Yeah, it's not always visualized on US, seems more difficult to see in males (more bowel gas?). Likely nothing to worry about.
