At least you got a decent meal unlike the U.S. carriers during this time being hit or miss on 2 hour flights
Any airline that serves a hot meal on such a short flight is a winner in my book.
I believe all mainline European-carriers serve hot-meals in business class.

Needless to say, but I'm going to anyway... Moscow airport today is likely a ghost town with a ramp full of aircraft stolen by Russia's airlines from the owners they were leasing them from. So, it's fascinating to see what aviation was like in the past in Russia.🙄

I mean SVO is far from a ghost town. Traffic/operations fell by like 40-50% and they closed one terminal, so it’s a different world, a sad one, due to their psycho leader, but with the amount of internal traffic and also that from Asia, Arabia and especially Turkey (with Turkish Airlines having rights to overfly the EU and adding new connections to Moscow constantly), it’s definitely not as empty as many 2020 first wave covid restrictions airports were.
Man i’m planning to go there this winter, wish me luck

For what seems to be a low quality carrier, they still put the time in to serve what seemed as good dish, awesome video as always Quintin!
When you are in those airport lounges before the flight, do you have to pay for any of the food or is that complimentary? I see this in a lot of airport videos but nobody ever says if there is a cost to it or not. (thanks!)
For the overwhelming majority of lounges it is totally free. There are a few lounges that might offer premium food and beverages for a charge (some of the domestic airlines here in the U.S. do that), but that is the exception.

Thank you for the airport tour. It's always interesting to see what they sell like sodas and chocolate bars - things every human can relate to. Lounge food looked good. I think most ppl are expecting borscht & cabbage rolls. Good to see everyone wearing a mask (unlike Fox News viewers). Truly a great advertisment for #LOT. If you look at the description, the flight took place back on January 6th. Plus the Christmas decorations at the airport should have provided you with a clue that this wasn't a recent flight!!
Moscow airport handling is not done by LOT.
I find it crazy that they would serve a meal for a flight that is less than 2 hours. If I ran an airline, I certainly wouldn't.
