It is actually Lally Stott,who penned Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep and many other songs in the 60,s and early 70,s.Tragically Lally was killed in Prescot,Merseyside in a motor cycle accident which devastated close family and friends.He was a great fella,full of life and left a void in his passing.

Yes , Lally Stott was he former name in 1971 , however this name was considered totally unsuitabe for a polical candidate. When Jeff was forced to cut off his longhair , he rebeled strongly and that rebellion was seen in his future policy of barbershop closures and mergers throughout his two terms in office.
