blacknight39 I’m not bullshitting at all! Ha okay buddy that’s your opinion right and I respect that....now I want you to respect my opinion that I don’t agree with you it’s as simple as it gets. Everybody doesn’t take music the same way. Some listen to pop, some listen to jazz, some listen to country...you can’t tell them what’s the right music they’re going to slap the shit out of you and also cause there is no such thing . I don’t want to play like Quennell dont care how great he is I don’t want to be a copycat cause I can’t do what he does I can only do what I do and I want to perfect it by taking his course.That’s what I’m saying these guys are so great you can’t really compare them. Better is subjective cause that’s you. I don’t see music as a competition and who’s better or what not. I see music as a language a communication a place for growth! These guys are still learning! I doubt they care what you say anyway!

Jesus Molina started really good pulling some great Jazz and he even added some latin Jazz to it with clas and speed, but Quennel outdid him with even more speed and some Oscar Peterson ish. I can't tell you who is more knowledgeable, but Quennel won this one.

As good as Jesus Molina is but Quennel has more style, more speed and he pulled some Art Tatum stuff. The Amazing thing is that Quennel did not go to formal school to learn how to play music. I bet Andrew Berinson is also a master, but not as scandalous as Quennel
Hey Q!!!! How do greats like Oscar Peterson and Johnny Costa and bud Powell pick a key to do a particular standard let's say misty in? Because I know all of you cats that play on this level can bake equally in any key. Like for instance I have 3 recordings with Oscar Peterson playing someday my prince 🤴 will come the first one is in b natural on one recording the second about 5 years later was in Bb and the third was in Eb I guess it depends on the mood and the day but after all I'm no OP but In my professional opinion you are 😉

I am going to be racist against my own self and think that Andrew B. in Theory is probably the best. But Molina pull some latin Jazz that was awesome and his left hand is pretty good. But the reason I prefer Quennel it is because Quennel is from the hard knock school - (no books needed, great by-ear playing and a lot of speed and Quennel did not even mix it with some gospel. ALl three of them are great with the edge toe Quennel.
