Titans are attracted to humans for some reason. Put 1,000s of people behind "safe" walls outside the main wall and titans will meander to the bait city... instead of going elsewhere along the entire long long diameter of the wall. Easier to defend 4 cities than a thousand miles of wall. Their cannons aren't very good but they CAN kill a titan with enough shots when they're firing straight down from a 50 meter tall wall. Eren got the key because it wasn't a dream. He just doesn't remember it very well because reasons. What happened will be clearly spelled out - sooner or later. AoT does a fantastic job of answering the questions it raises. *Every* significant question is answered, one way or another, by the end of the show.

The reason i prefer sub is some dialogs are completely different than the sub. And sub kinda gives a clear understanding of whats happening. Also the emotions are next level in sub❤
I’ve always been a dub supporter although the sub is better of course, but especially in these earlier seasons they change up the dialogue quite a bit which is unfortunate because of how planned out every single detail is in this show. but in later seasons dub is more accurate to the OG script and I can understand wanting to watch it in a language you’re more comfortable with.
I finished Attack on Titan 6 months ago, and now I have rewatched it 5 times, and the fourth season is my best season. When you start the fourth season, this will definitely be the beginning of the journey, because the story will be completely different.

Hi have a suggestion for you guys. I think you should at least watch one episode in the subbed version and then pick which one you want to continue it in. I also think that you guys should not focus on taking notes. You end up missing things when you are not looking and Attack on Titan is one of those anime's where you need to pay attention to everything or it wont make sense. If you still want notes at the end take the time and just jot everything you remember. Either way I am glad you are enjoying it and I will be here watching with you :)

The way I see it is "in Japanese you're just dubbing their voices with your own" Yes i understand the VAs are more impactful but you can also miss things especially since y'all talk to one another or make comments and take down notes. For all the people saying the pro-subbers like me are being dramatic, let me give you some perspective: I'm Filipino. I've watched Pokemon in English, Filipino, and Japanese. All 3 versions were equally enjoyable. I've also watched Dragon Ball Z in English and Filipino, which were also equally enjoyable. I've watched AoT in English and Japanese, but I prefer the Japanese WAY BETTER. It was the quality of the voice acting (Japanese VAs really put all their heart and soul into their craft), the BGMs, and the dialogue that made all the difference. Now I rewatch it in Japanese and I have not looked back since. For a good reason.

While in this show, it's just so bad, Eren, Armin and Mikasa especially 😭, while some side characters got a very good dub instead lol

Many other reactors switched to the subbed version and got better engagement. Content creators actually want feedback from their viewers instead of just a bunch of “yes” men.

First time i watched it in dub witch was good but i ended up prefering sub later on however i dont remember them swearing maybe im tripping tho
