There's a manual lift pump(priming pump) and also a mechanical lift pump which lift(suck/pull) the fuel from the fuel tank passes through the filters and then to the high pressure (fuel injection) pump and then to the injectors. On this system the fuel pump suck, it's not in the tank pushing, it's on the engine sucking

What about fuel there is no fuel pump in the tank,how it will go up to the fuel filter and primary fuel pump.......
