here's a suggestion: for the smiler don't make it's body transparent and instead when you shine the light on it it disappears and reappears when you don't shine light on it.
But it should only work if you are in a spot with lights like in Level 1 because in Level 2 it would be game breaking (you could just walk with your flash light looking at the smiler)
I had no idea the creator of this game had a youtube channel, I just gotta say that you did an amazing job and are doing an amazing job with the continued updates! Watching people play and even getting the game myself due to how close you made it to actual Backrooms lore, I applaud you. :)
Adding the « you are an idiot » in a backrooms game is a genius idea. The voices saying these words is just pure nightmare fuel and perfectly fits the liminal atmosphere of the backrooms
yeah i agree, my only issue with them was they looked like they were made out of rubber or something. i think it wouldve worked to keep the same model and just add some texture to it
Suggestion: make liquid pain disguise itself as other items, for example, the normal juice item has a blue cap, so a liquid pain bottle disguised as a juice bottle would have a red cap. It would make liquid pain actually dangerous instead of having a bright red bottle that says "liquid pain" in big letters
I'm really impressed with the way you implemented the player ID stuff. You could have gone the lazy way and just added floating names or Among Us colors, but instead you made it more realistic and immersive 🔥
Dude the skin stealers was a genius idea! That would be absolutely terrifying to hear your teammate’s voice and then it transforms into that terrifying beast of a thing. Keep up the good work! 3:11 is where he describes it btw
I do gotta say, I personally prefer the partygoer models when they look less directly scary and more scary in a subtler way like the old model, but this update looks good.

So it makes more sense to me that they’d have a more reserved design as opposed to the redesign which is super forward about being freaky.

Hey man, I just want you to know that it's not necessary to overwork yourself with a project of this size, cause if you do then you'll probably lose a lot of motivation to work on it, and eventually progress will stop. So take time to do this stuff, it's okey to take breaks, and know that we will be waiting patiently for the next video, no matter how long it takes.
I wish people, when doing backroom levels, made the pool room levels more cool looking then just normal mazes with pools here and there, like, adding giant spaces with bridges going across giant pools, pillars that go from the floor down below to the ceilling, crazy stairways, Giant tubes that release water and etc
Maybe for the skin stealers you could sometimes record the voices of the players when they are talking to eachother or are screaming, and then randomly play those back! Would be pretty funng

I feel like the main issue is if it only records one player then if that player is talking to someone and the skinstealer records is and plays that audio it would sound incomplete bc that player was talking to another one lol but idk but it could record all players voices and play them back idk
Suggestion: Instead of making the Skin Stealer just pop back into its original form after copying a player's outfit, it should rip the front of the hazmat suit open, crawl out (the suit should fall down) and it starts crawling towards you while trying to get up and then it chases after you.
Hey Fancy, I just wanted to say that the old design of the Partygoers were way better and more unsettling. Would be really nice if there could be an option to choose between the Entities appearences, especially for these ones who look very experimental. Or just bring the old desing back, would love it

Just a couple ideas. The office level should have a constant ticking clock sound from analog clocks on the walls to make the level more eerie, and if you get hit by a hound, you should turn in to one if it isn't treated, as that is how they work.
What not a lot of people make about the backrooms is they skip the sense of accomplishment as you go through the levels one by one, and I am so happy you are able to do it! (I love Kane Pixels as well).
My god is game is phenomenal!! I like that you have a couple levels that are kinda like “break” levels. Where we won’t have to worry about our lives and can just enjoy the scenery and explore!
It's been so cool to see your game get more and more detailed and grow with each video! I can see that you put a lot of work into this and it really shows.
Fancy is the fuckin' man. He read my mind and made it a survival horror with friends. The only thing missing now is a faction system, bigger areas/random generation(which can be glitchy as well because backrooms nature) and human npcs like Async walking around which can help/kill players with guns. Kind of like how npcs in STALKER walk around and do their own thing.
Dunno if you're already working on it, but level 9 would be a real cool and ominous floor given how dangerous it is and the fact it looks like you're back in the real world gives it that unsettling ambience to it. Still though, the work you've done on this game is amazing, sure, it's rough around the edges as you've said, but the fact you take the time to apply suggestions others made and fixes they point out shows your passion and thoughtfulness to this community. Keep up the great work!

I would say those bad reviews at like 0:40 are very unfair, it’s an early access game with only one guy working on it, it’s not garbage, he’s trying his hardest to make a good game and shitting on it doesn’t help at all.
Prob because level fun had near frame perfect timings and had no checkpoints. Even if its early access, you cant make it so any non speedrunner cant beat it
6 things you should add -the camera records gameplay and when you beat the game you can review your footage -when you get slapped by another player you fall to the ground instead of just getting stunned -randomly generated rooms made with rooms youve already made -food and drink system (maybe not) -stamina (i havent played so i dont know if there is) -make rooms darker and give players flashlights with scary ambience playing in the background (again i havent played yet so i dont know if these are features)

Me and the boys played this game right when it came out and it definitely has some issues, but we understood that it was still in development and we still had a lot of fun with it. I'm glad you're putting so much work into this and I'm excited to play it!

You should add a drink called liquid disguise that you can find with the crowbar in hidden caches around the level. That lets you disguise as any entity in the game and make the real entity think your one of them.
Don't let the bad reviews get over you or stress you out, I think your game is the best backrooms game out there, and even so you keep improving it, can't wait for the next video

I like the idea of building small forts to stay in for a short time to stay "safe" for a little bit before the monster destroys it. and also the idea of you wondering into lost people and a-sync employees NPCs is cool as well, like sure its a small chance of finding anyone else in there but its definitely a possibility, imagine small groups of survivors trying to live and staying in one place while a-sync employees are wandering around the place looking at shit they shouldn't be and they get killed because of it. it would be cool to see something like that, just a thought
The idea of searching for reasources is so good. I could just imagine talking to your group about scaveging for flashlights in level 1 before exploring level 3 in order to have flashlights. I think maybe adding a way to go to different levels like alternate exits to go to different levels like how in the backrooms you can exit from level fun to level 0

idea: make smiler humanoid like they are (how does no one know that they are humanoid) and make it so that when you use a flashlight and you point at them they kill you.
Me and the boys played this game right when it came out and it definitely has some issues, but we understood that it was still in development and we still had a lot of fun with it. I'm glad you're putting so much work into this and I'm excited to play it!

You should add a drink called liquid disguise that you can find with the crowbar in hidden caches around the level. That lets you disguise as any entity in the game and make the real entity think your one of them.

Here's a suggestion for the smiler instead of making its body transparent,I think you should just make it kill you if you flash a flashlight at it,and once it kills you it goes to its original spot, i also think that they should also have black mist around them to make them harder to see

I like the idea of building small forts to stay in for a short time to stay "safe" for a little bit before the monster destroys it. and also the idea of you wondering into lost people and a-sync employees NPCs is cool as well, like sure its a small chance of finding anyone else in there but its definitely a possibility, imagine small groups of survivors trying to live and staying in one place while a-sync employees are wandering around the place looking at shit they shouldn't be and they get killed because of it. it would be cool to see something like that, just a thought

The idea of searching for reasources is so good. I could just imagine talking to your group about scaveging for flashlights in level 1 before exploring level 3 in order to have flashlights. I think maybe adding a way to go to different levels like alternate exits to go to different levels like how in the backrooms you can exit from level fun to level 0
