very good! i was doing an auditorium project last month and it would have saved me so much timeeee but that's ok, that's learning for the next ones hahahahaha thanks man!
The problem is sight lines to the pitch. It's harder to see the further back in the stands you are, so seats need to be gradually higher. You end up with a parabola curve. This is a good tutorial but keep in mind there's a lot more to stadium seating.
Yes that's correct, not to mention that seatings are modelled under railing category which I doubt is acceptable in a professionall workflow. However, the idea of using railing for such application is very interseting.
For the seating bowl in my stadium projects, I usually use model-in-place with a profile, because the bowl is parabolic, not uniform height tread. Can the railing seat number be count in the schedule?
There is a x1000 times better and faster solution .. Plus if you are really working on a stadium project, and you have to make any adjustments for the seating or the lower structure (The big stairs you've just made), it would be a disaster.
This never occurred to me, thank you. Railings are so versatile.
Super ! I think your the best teacher in this world. Thank You !

why dont you use the array function to array the seats?
Curtain walls are a much better solution than railing for the dealing of seats…
How ?
I agree. Curtain walls can be very versatile if used right.
