I believe if you put one of your highest rated outfield players in goal before your negotiations, the goalkeeper you're buying will want a lower squad role. Because it thinks the goalkeeper is so high rated, even though it's an outfield player

If you don't want to spend money in Jan and are a little short in a position, I alway look at loaning someone either on the loan list or look at team stats, see appearances and look at who is not playing. Sometimes you can get a gem in. I was Southampton and I needed a CB so I managed to get Humphreys on loan from chelsea even though he wasn't on the loan list. Great content, keep up the great work 👍🏻
